I get DCed every like 15 minutes of playing. I have premium too, wtfeezy?

DC many times mean DIE if your grinding\jobbing, DIE means go in town and make all the road once again and lose time....and this sux much,thats the problem he got i think xD

It's been happening a lot from people I talk to it only happens on my laptop though. All since the last inspection.

I get dc'ed about every 1 hour or 2 during peak traffic hours even while im grinding in pt >.<, don't have premium...
don't know if it acutally happens in other servers, but everytime im in a pt after about an hour at least one person is dc'ed and it ruins the pt

See if this helps.

For any processor:

• Open task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del)
• Find sro_client.exe
• Right click sro_client.exe
• Set the priority to a higher setting than normal (the higher the better)

For dual core or dual processor setups:

• Open task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del)
• Find sro_client.exe
• Right click sro_client.exe
• Click "Set Affinity..."
• Set it to only one core/processor

These aren't exactly solutions per say, but they will help somewhat.

after the last inspection, whenever i try and run sro my computer dies lol. says something about the nvdllkrsomething.dll going wrong and then the screen turns black, i get a rainbow across my screen and my computer just dies.

not the same problem you're having but ^ anyone have any idea what's happening lol. not that it matters since i quit but it would be nice to come in for fw xD.

LOL, In town I dc for sure so I cant even repot,
Outside town (close) I DC every 10 min
Grinding I DC every 20/30 min.

And its not my computer and neither my Internet connection.

Since the bot bans I get the ????? DC.

To get rid off ????????? error...delete SilkErrSender file from SRO folder. It helped for me

About DC. It's weird these days. Always before DC, everything stops, and then after 1min DC. But now, it's so fast, no lag, i run to the mob and bah, DC.

and i have no premium

so 20 minutes loggin

i really appreciate nice comments, i'm tired of seeing crap talkers all over the place.

I've been crashing, getting ???? and runtime errors since the bot ban. I got premium but still it's annoying when you're pt grinding or you need to repot in hotan and then crash.

Yeah I know when I reconnect I have to run go back to wherever I was because I die trying to get there everytime I reconnect haha.

This kept happening to me yesterday. There was a thread about it I in Technical I think. A lot of ppl kept getting random crashes for no apparent reason and not only dc.

It just sucks lets hope it will be fixed after the inspection!

OK I just tried to turn in my purification seeds and the game crashed. Is it crashing a lot more after this patch or just me?

I think you need to check your compatibility or something. Whats your specs?

well I am on wireless and windows vista. I use vista rc1 now tho so compatibility issues shouldn't be the problem. I don't know maybe it's my parents' laptop, I'm not on my main comp.

LOL the dc's and errors have nothing to do with our comp's or internet connection its a bug in the game which needs to be fixed

I've been running StartAffinity to make SRO stick to a single processor since I first started in Aug 2007. I don't think this is the same problem.

nvdllblahbalh looks like a Nvidia process.
Browsing through srf and listening to friends who got DC every some minutes, it really starts to look like its an incompatibility between Nvidia videocards and Sro.

I got it too, with waves. Got DC every some minutes, sometimes even before i see my char. Got a Nvidia card.
Friend of mine, same problem, Nvidia card.
Other friend, no Nvidia, no DC
