Well, I think I've finally done it. I have moved to a new server. This is a big day for me, because anyone here that really knows me, knows that I have played on Troy since day 1 (the day it opened as the 3rd server). The insane amount of bots plays a role in my switch, all of the Sun at cap is another reason. And the 3rd and final reason, I cannot even login to the game (at any time of day/night) to activate my premium ticket. I bought the silk, but Venus was the only server I could get into.

Welcome to Venus. If you're like any of the other legits with high level chars they left behind, you'll never even look back. Lots of parties, great community. Very helpful and supportive.

Don't get me wrong, there's still some bots here but here's some interesting points:

I3L00DYH3IL (avg level 45, active members 27) just got owned by SuddenDeath (avg level 39, active member 21). SuddenDeath has been on the server one month.

There are three active, legit unions on the server. Even the weakest of the three, working together, would easily defeat the strongest bot union on the server. Crazy, huh?

Fort is owned by a legit union. Bot guilds have tried several times and can't even come close to taking it. When DW fort opens up, it'll be owned by a legit union...and on, and on, and on.

Nooby little me had a bot trap running for two hours this morning. Only 4 thieves tried to harass me and they all got owned. I collected 1000 pots for my new low-level guildmates (thanks bots!).

The thing about Venus is not that there's no bots; there are. The thing is that bots are on the defensive. Remember how everyone used to accuse legits of being whiny? The opposite is true on Venus: the bots are the whiners. When they bother mouthing off, it's always a shrill blubbering about how legits are ruining the game. Can you believe that?

Nobody is claiming that Venus is bot free. But with every legit added, one bot and five goldbots leave. There's just no future for them here. Only the really stubborn ones remain and they'll figure it out soon enough (as a stubborn legit on Oasis, I know the feeling!).

Anyway, sorry to hijack, but he asked the question.

Basically what the guy above me just said. I started today at around 1pm, and I've already hit level 25 in just a few hours because of the insane amount of legit players and parties. I was in an 8 man euro grinding party from level 10 to level 21. It's been a lot of fun so far.

Right now I'm in Game_Over guild, but I plan on starting the FoCA guild back up on Venus

I wouldn't say it's "Immune", but I haven't seen any on the Euro side of the map. I'm sure there's some on the chinese side. Login is easy (first try), and people are nice. So far I love it.

It is impossible for a server to be immune to anything, however, Venus is working 24/7 to eliminate bots. If someone from Avalon has one, you should see a vid of their bot traps, they get a non-stop flow of bots out of dw dying.

90 cap would be fun on Troy, if sun is EXTREMELY rare (i.e. 1 drop in 1 year hahaha). I can't stand Troy and it's drama/politics.

meh if you look beyond the drama its actually really funny, and yea sun needs to be rare Troy is full of full sun players (XxX) the drop rates need to be fixed. But best of luck on Venus see yea around!

Let's just say it this way: I'm a poor player... most of everything I have is either drops, given to me, or I spent months to earn (including my badass sword). Despite all of that, I have a full sun garm set (with full blues). If I can achieve that, just think what the other people have.... because I get hit so hard by those Sun +9 weapons.

Wow, I'm so broke on Venus that I can't even afford a level 24 staff LOL. This is wierd not having a high level on the same account to transfer money from. Anyone wanna help out

Its because a large amount of legits mainly from xian moved there on the first day(nightbloom, Asyamura, Khaara, phizit(me), and Fly to name a few from Avalon) and then party grinded everyday and convinced more legits to move there. now we have 2 legit unions and im not sure but i think theres another one and the bots are getting tired of fighting a losing battle. BTW why are you in Game_Over their a bot guild im pretty sure, just curious.

Are they? It's my first day, I have no idea. I've been party grinding with them... and their guild notice is congratulating apparent success with the war on bots o_O

Have fun on Venus, although I think you suck for leaving a full sun set behind but that my opinion ^_^

I think Game_over is a guild from quebec owned by SHAWOO3 or Vito (both bots).

Hey PureStr i met u yesterday in venus O.o. remmeber Oddesy union?

BTW Avalon is a legit union, but Oddesy is a legit union too (but we are a little behind Avalon). Can anyone tell me the third legit union?
