So I always see people grinding their chinese in 8 man pts or lvling to 80 in 8 man pts.

I have a 76 chinese on Venus which I have never realy pted with I have been in the odd one but not for very long and not to gain xp, mainly because the pt was short of damage dealers and I am better than nothing.

But I ask if you are a chinese that uses 8 man pts to level why not just make a euro, why make a chinese and then grind it like a euro.

I guess maybe I am old fashioned in that I dont thing chinese should use 8 man pts to level, or maybe its just that other people are lazy IDK.. I would like other opinions on this matter... If you are a chinese that does grind in 8 man pts why and if you dont why dont you.

I dont use them because chinese are ment to solo so I solo them, also because I can earn exp nearly as fast solo as I can in a pt, and I find pt grinding very boring compared to solo.

Well maybe someone wanted a chinese character but not a euro, and with the benefits of 8 man parties since euro, why not do so? I don't think they WANT to party, just that it's quicker.

well we like to fight hard things... sry we cant 1 hit everything like u guys...

Well you dont need to be in a pt to fight the hard things, I can solo any pt mob fine the onyl one that can kill me is a general pt gaint, every other thing isnt a chalange.

I just dont see why you would make a chinese if you arent prepared for the time it takes to cap it out, if you want to level fast make a euro if you want to have a custom build character make a chinese, but play your character the way its ment to be played thats the way I look at it. Chinese dont have moves that help others they cant buff others or hold agro so they cant effectivley pt grind meaning they are a solo character.

So why not play it like they are intended to be played.

I don't play chinese for the pt.

I just like chinese characters

I don't know why, but soloing on a European isn't as "exciting" as it is on a Chinese.

I dont really pt that much with my nuker because I seen the damage that the other players my lvl do to mobs were fighting and realize exactly how badly farmed i am. I usually leave so i don't do this

Makes the grind that bit easier when you got real players to grind with. Just my view

IDK.. I tried joining an 8 man pt b4 with my chinese char and it didn't work out lol.. It made me waste time..

For me I grind faster alone. I don't need to think about anyone just myself. I can solo kill pt mobs, tho i'm having some hard time killing pt giants.

with 2 tanks, 4 wizards, 1 bard, 1 cleric its godly xp, i can get 1 lvl in 45 minutes , and I am lvl 43 ...

but the mob spawn rate won't be able to catch up.

LOL not at all... I am simply saying if people want to pt grind why not make a euro, I just wanted to understand peoples reasoning for grinding a chinese in an 8 man pt rather than grinding the way it is intended to be done. If it is simply because people are lazy and want to be capped as fast as possible or because they like it over solo grinding.

Solo is boring and you dont get much exp as in exp share pt

I mostly solo but occasionally share party. I'll get more XP in a full, working share party. I like both.

I think the question hes trying to ask is, why don't chinese just reroll as euros if they want to 8 man party. Thats a pretty good question, why do people use rowboats when they can have a motor engine?

Cuz I prefer chinese but don't mind share partying?

Actually Chinese 8 man parties aren't all that quick, as you lack AoE skills, you can't pull too well, and you can't support each other. So while you're running around like headless chickens wondering WTF you need to do to run it at a nice speed, yu could just go out, solo, and earn a lot more EXP.

hm i had a nice 5 man pt of lv 17-20 bowmen

i really dont see why chinese people think they cant pt, sure we dont get aoe heals... but auto pot takes care of that

and we do have aoe anyways, so if everyone targets the same monster the pt still works same as euro... problem i noticed is for some reason no one thinks to target same monster

8 people fighting 8 different pt monster isnt really partying :S

Why? Because in venus you don't see level 80 gold bots, and theres nowhere near as many bots as most other servers. Soloing in most servers is rediculously hard when you everytime you target a mob its dead already.

Take, for example, a Chinese 8-man party at generals. Against the general pt giant that spawns against you from the adjacent party, killing it would be boring. Get a blader to get division and bleed on it though, and 7 nukers to destroy it, and it's fun . Another example is a small 3-man INT party at shamans. No need for a specialized tank, healer, buffer, and damage dealer--- everyone can pot themselves, deal good damage with lightning nukes, and tank the monsters. Though I agree with you, if you make a Chinese, don't depend on a party.

I dont think Chinese were INTENDED to solo,
Party play was out there since the beginning,only that no one wanted to be a Pure Force to Heal people,
In Euro case,Joymax said it was a party play based race,
so to me China is Party&Solo =D
A Blade or Glavie can act like a DPS,same for bow maybe,or as a lurer,Pure INT nukers,etc.

coz 8man pts is faster? And more fun?
