Interesting... I knew there were a lot of Turkish SRO users, but this data seems to indicate an overwhelming majority O_O.

something happened early 2006 that caused a massive loss of players. then in mid 2007 Europe caused a spike in the amount of players, but that momentum was quickly lost. Then another spike right before fortress war, which also quickly dropped, currently (according to this chart) the current trend is a loss of players.

Number of real players leaving > Number of real players staying/joining.

EDIT: Awhile ago morningdew did state that an overwhelming majority of Isro players were and are turkish.

EDIT: @prophet, there would be a spike, and then it would quickly drop to normal levels, which by that time will be low.

wow it's scary...

not to be offensive but shouldn't they go work improve their economy being a newly industrializing country instead of staying inside and play games?

the rise of turkish players was due to the viet ban. before the viet ban, english/usa/canada was number 1, vietnam was number 2.

viets knew how to play silkroad. they gave the english speak legit majority a challange. when they got banned, most high level legits got bored with no challange and quit.

ban 1 group of assholes, and another will always rise and take there place. enter the turks.

really hope that trend at the end of the graph continues.

I agree. I have several friends from Australia and they are great people.

Also, when I was in Csro, I made many friends from Hong Kong and wish there were more asians in Isro. I've played in other asian games and they generally are nice people to play with.

There is, in fact, a tSRO: Taiwan Silk Road Online. Joymax has already stated they will never IP ban another country, which, as many members pointed out, makes the mere idea of Joymax licensing Isro to another company contrary to what the Company, Joymax, has publicly stated.

@Fly, I concur: Asians are a fun bunch to play games with.

So Isro would have to reach this level before its community even garners the decency of the 60 cap community. It appears the Vietnamese IP ban turned this game to trash.

its funny how csro and isro follow different trends even tho they are released in the same year :? probably csro would turn into isro if csro supported turk languages
