why do people keep saying euro's cant solo :S
I mean, ok so maybe a euro has trouble fighting giants of same lvl or higher but everything else it does fine with... but other than giants

and euros tend to kill faster or as fast as chinese, even clerics/bards have near nuker damage and have quick attacks for the nuke+lion shout combo too

me war/cleric can take a pt giant of the same level...maybe even higher...havent tested.

A rogue without a sub can solo giants too, the trick is... remove DD or CX! I've killed many a giants using the little tanking ability that Rogues have

yes i know euros can fight giants :S said it was troublesome not impossible

my warlock can tank giants of same lvl with no sub

I can grind at mobs 3 levels higher and still survive easily even the giants im fine with o.o

well chinese ppl, who haven't fully experienced a europe char say that becaue of the pot delay. i used to think euro couldn't solo at all, but after i made a warlock, i soloed to lvl 20 in 2 days of grinding. thats the fastest i have ever reached lvl 20. i see some euros can solo very well, especially a xbow rogue and a warlock.
but mostly euros are made for partying, and with a good party every time they play, they can probably lvl twice as fast as they would lvl with grinding alone.

im a warlock/ cleric
and i can tank a lv 48 spider party giant
it takes forver to kill tough
it has like 52349823409 life lol(not a real number)

hm wonder if people think that the 15 sec pot delay isnt to handicap euros, but its because they just plain dont need it because if they didnt have it they would be too powerful

yeah, i got a 10 gap at lv 60 and i can still kill lv 70 devil eyes... how many chinese chars can kill things 10 lvls higher with skills and armor that are 10 lvls under them

i fight penon giants and i always take em out on my own

@-.-: ya not many, except pure str, which i think can, but they are gonna take a looong time.
BTW whats ur build? if its rogue or wizard i wont be surprised.

even soloing....bless or skin if you're in real trouble.

i never had a problem soloing...... lvl 80 wiz/cleric......... pure int.

yeah i got a xbow/bard (well warlock/wizard, 1h/2h/warlock too)

As warlock/cleric, I can handle 10+ level 80 General mobs attacking me on my own and fight a level 80 party giant on my own. People who still believe that euros can't solo just probably haven't seen a decent euro or just haven't opened their eyes yet

Euro characters can solo, it's just the race wasn't mean to be a soloing race.

i play sro like 2 years and after updeate i take tour off all charakters and skill combination's

best off all i like Wizard/clerik (he kill fast and can hold pt monsters )

when i was 42 lvl i lvl att muigis and now at 50 lvl vith 8 lvl gap stand's alone on ishade/hashade

My character's lvl 25 Warlock/Wizard, and I can take on giant crabs, pilot logs, or even wolves. With the crabs I don't have to do much but use my wizard skills. With the other 2 i have to use some warlock skills to drain it down a bit and then attack with wizard.

Sure they can SOLO, but really, theres no point to it. You grind 25x faster in a 8 man party, as long as they know what they're doing.

i just dc after 5 min -.-

90% of my progress with my wiz was solo cause u just cant find many decent parties. and it was always mobs 5 lvls or so above me, cause I 1 hit them with lc, so i'm just careful not to get hit(or critted ) to much, and when it comes to giants i always have bless & rec division & zerk for my aid

I have a 2H warrior and haven't been in a single pt yet at 35

Even if Euros can solo, they're better off in a party. I never soloed once when I played in Hera. @_@

The person's not asking if it's better to be in a party or not, common sense is going to tell you it is, but they're asking why is it that people say euro's can't solo, which they can. It's the people that say that parties are better that say euros can't solo.

gets hard at high lvls,

i have rogue/barb full farmed 0 gap , cant solo at niya guards..

u will need a cleric, and europeans lvl way faster and better in a good share exp party. stop trying be chinese, and tryna solo on your european character. i RECOMMEND THAT U FIND A SHARE EXP PARTY GROUP

+ u cant grind in cave solo , cuz ther argo mobs in close spaces so u will have 2 or 3 attacking your at same time.. you will eventually die..

people that have cleric subs might be able to solo but u would have to keep switching alot..

europeans can only solo at low lvls from my views, but at high lvls u definitely need a party

The myth has been busted numerous times. There's no point of doing it over and over. With that said, why not point out the fact that Euros are party-oriented and that they should stick in parties if they can? It's certainly obvious - as obvious as the fact that Euros can solo, though relatively inefficient.

Not only did i point out that fact that they're party-oriented, but i said it was common sense that it was. Just in case you didn't actually read my post and just skipped on over to the quote button, here is what I said

The fact is they don't have to be party-oriented, but it's better that they should. Sort of like you don't have to have oh.... let's say a sos weapon in this game, but it's better if you do. And I'm not sure how the myth's been busted numerous times, but I've never saw where it was and if you could, would you point that out to me because otherwise I really don't know if it was or not.

I pointed out the obvious. You pointed out the obvious. SuperTanker, Casey613, ThisIsAvalon, and Hitman144 pointed out the obvious. Do you want me to say it again? Euros are better in parties. Are you going to bitch how the thread starter's not talking about solo vs. party, or are you going to chillax?

I'm not sure about you but there are numerous posts above me confirming that there are Euros out there that can solo. Until you discount these personal statements, they're a sufficient proof that goes against the myth.

They can solo a gaint at their own level but when it comes to a soloing a pt gaint.. You're pretty much dead.
