Simply using a shield does not pertain to a certain tree. Switching to shield while being knock downed has been here for awhile. It is not a bug.

What you should complain about is The Fire Shield working without having a shield equipped.

Knockdown is a disable move. So it is a bug. How come I can't attack or do anything while being Knockback by bow and being stun by heuksal. So they should not be able to do anything while being Knockdown.

Sometimes you can equip a shield while being stunned...I know I did it a few times.

With stun you are stunned...so it says you cant do anything...But with knockdown, you get knock downed (duh). No where stands you cannot swap weapons or anything while being knock downed.

i think he's trying to say that if u were like a glavier, and you get knocked down by a blader, you shouldn't be able to equip a shield when you are laying on the ground. (you can now, but he want's it to be disabled)

You are right. But blader doesnt need to switch to shield during Knockdown because they already have the shield equipped from the start. I'm saying you cannot switch to shield if you are using glavie, bow, spear, wizard rod, axe etc basically a NON-BICHEON player when being knock downed.

example;

Rouge vs blader

Rouge starts with subclass buffs (rec. division.. holy spell... or moving march if bard) and a crossbow.

Blader starts with whatever buffs.
---------

The rouge hits the blader first, causing minor damage, the blader phantom walks to him and does a KD move, it is unsuccessful.
The rouge KD's the blader, switches to daggers and does Dagger Desperate, followed by a mortal wounds while the blader is getting up.
The blader blocks a few hits, and is still alive.. the rouge gets a few more hits, but still, the blader lives.
The blader does another KD move, which knocks the rouge down,
Here's the important part, listen!
The rouge get's triple stabbed, with dagger desperate on, and he can't cancel by switching to shield.. the blader wins.

It'd be basically impossible for a rouge to kill a blader.
The blader would always win.

correct me if im wrong but i dont think u can cancel DD while you're laying on the ground being triple stabbed.

I havent played on my lvl 40 rogue in a while...

this is why rogue/clerics are gayyyyyy
they hit the shield key, and their defense goes from nothing as a rogue to greatness as a cleric with defense passives.

No that was when I was a PURE STR blader. I hated it so much that it pisses me off. So now when I pvp and see those non-bicheon user switch to shield while in KD, the satifaction I get when I stun them with glavie while they have no shield and can't do anything. *evil laugh* hahahhahahaha

The greatest feeling in teh world is when I finish them off with ghost Mars and they actually get knock back. It's like saying "die you ......ker and get the ...... out" lol

But with this feature disable, it will only help me kill them faster.

saw your video, you should totally forget about the kd thing, since it just gives time for your opponent's hp to rise back to 100%, and also you might not kd on the first try after you get the 2 status effect on the chain

get 2 of the chains effect in, switch to glavie, and they are dead
forget about the weakening of phy def/mag def, its not that much.
