After first login session which took around 2 hours i got virtual runtime error, second time it took 1,5h to login, and again same error. Now i managed to get in within 30 minutes and AGAIN same error. First time i put some items to my stall, second and thrid time i tried to take some items from storage. "Frustrating"

So anyone knows how to fix it ?

I get the same error regulary, but not when I log in.

I just restart sro, and it works.

Btw, you got Vista or something? On my XP I never got the prob, on my 2 vista's I get it..

2. Runtime Visual C Error
- Download Microsoft Directx 9.0c to the latest version.
- Download Microsoft SDK to the latest version.
- Make sure you unzip the program to it’s own individual folder for install.
- All microsoft programs can be found on http://www.microsoft.com
- ANY QUESTIONS ON DIRECTX PLEASE VISIT MICROSOFT.COM

Yeah, thats the way to fix it.
I had it as well. Takes times to log in, and then get dc'ed in five minutes.
Downloads: DirectX 9.0c (the latest), and also SDK (yeah, the one from 450 MB ). You'll need it, or you'll keep the error.

But then you might try to get the SDK thing.

I've heard somewhere that SRO isn't fully directX 10.0 compatible, but as far as if that is true, i cant help you anymore.

oh well SDK for Vista is 1.1Gb

How exactly do you know it is npc?

it has no +3-+10 look. no shyney sos. it could be like +2 or somthing. but still.... my spear powns! i'm sooooo happy!

actualy its lvl 56 +5 spear with 80% magical dmg, i used it for sp farming 5 months ago, and if you refer me as somekind of bot, then you are terribly wrong

LOL. I'm sure everyone starts up SRO, try to logging for hours and hours. Then when they finally get in the first thing they do is buff in town xD. Only people I see buffing in town are BOTS. And BTW no one even accused you of being a BOT until now^^.

ha! i installed Silkroad yesterday, give me a break, i buffed outside of the hotan, i was testing if i get runtie error while being inside of lag or ..... , then i thought its happening when i move items , like in stall or storage... cmon dont break my heart with that crap bot accusing

Fair enough. But tell me why did you believe people would accuse you of botting. I'm sure its not because of that error, we all know SRO is filled with a lot of bugs that make you DC randomly. Or were you just using a defense tactic by saying that.

bwah would you be ok when some one pranking about how you bot,,, i quess not. I think we can close this discussion because its not going to lead nowhere. in my signature you could see that 4-5 months ago i was lvl 57, and look at picture, yes i made 2% in 4-5 month, what a amayzing bot i have.

Im just saying that no one would accuse you of botting because your getting a game error that a lot of other people have. Sorry for getting on you like that.
