Post by loveisintheair »

EDIT: Now I get to say: I told you so

Chargebacks! Plain and simple.

'nuff said. Don't hold your breath, it's not going to happen.

Botters? Buy silk? ROFL.

All they do is use a login script, and bot. Even if they DID buy silk, they would be capped in 2 months, while a legit chinese takes longer = more silk.

Banning botters will infact make more money for Joymax, 90% of the bots are stupid dumbshits. They wont chargeback, they'll just restart their chars and bot more, buy more silk. Its like a farm, once the crops are grown, reap what you sow, and then plant the seeds again.

Ban bots, after they just bought 1000 silk to get a 100 silk bonus, then ban their accounts. Now they gotta spend $100+ on a new account, after they cant use their 1100 silk they just bought. GG....

It's not only about PayPal. A chargeback through the user's credit card company is even more likely to succeed (CCC's have a tendency to rule in favour of their customers, and not merchants).

First you say botters don't buy silk, then you say they do? which is it. bottom line, botters will most likely do chargeback and screw JM, so I highly doubt a massive ban will be coming. Goldbots yes, hundreds of player bots? no.

Maybe they have let bots go on for so long and had plenty of time to "farm" money lol, so it wont hurt if they charged back for however long now >.>.

But I doubt it! Maybe they will only ban a few players and tons of goldbots, doesn't say they banned a buncha player bots~

I don't believe that. Wouldn't those that handgrind for hours be addicted? and also, if they keep buying bots, silk etc and then do that every time they get banned and have to start over, that's a lot of money wasted, I don't htink they'd keep doing that.

A lot of player bots do actually buy silk and if they were to be banned, they would process a chargeback on as much money as they can.

This would in turn initially cause Joymax to lose a large some of money as well as compromise some terms and agreements they have with the billing/silk charge companies, causing them to be in quite a pinch.

Unless they can take such a large hit, i guess silk buying player bots are a no no for a ban.

Though what Mini-Fly said is right a non bot community would prove to be just as profitable in terms of silk purchase, but it's too little too late on Joymaxs' behalf to hope for that. This is what happends when u allow yourself to sink in mud, you get bogged down with no easy way out.

LOL!
Only the free bot users probably don't buy silk, the ones who pay to use a bot definitely do buy silk.
Joymax's main income is from player bots.
'Legits' make up maybe 5-10% of their income I would estimate.
They honestly don't give a shit about someone botting in the game. They are a company, they care about money. If they are making good money they won't do anything to change that. (which they are)
This war on bots statement they recently made is just to keep up some type of 'image', they'll probably ban a few botters who don't buy silk. Most of it will be goldbots who will be back the next day, though.

The conspiracy theories and the thought that JM would make more money from player bots than legit players if all bots were banned is funny. lol
