Okay, so I always thought that Astral is for eh... example:

U have a +8 weapon and u want it to be +9. You ahve astral on it
It fails... then isn't astral supposed to prevent it from decreasing any + right? Then it stays +8 or what? Cause i'm pretty much confused after reading several topcis about astral on this forum ^^

Prevents from lowering below +4.

So... when you fail +9 it goes back to +4? OMG, that suks! then you always have a chance of failing and dropping way lower..

Yeah, thats why I went from a +8 to a +4

And since +4 is easy enough to do over 5 us dollars is a complete rip off.

My hint. Buy a +5 weapon. Buy a separate weapon you can attempt to + up and if you get your +7 or +9 use that instead. This way if anything bad does happen you don't screw up your actual weapon. Also, don't put on Blues until it's +ed up because it sucks breaking a weapon that's fully pimped.

If it prevented it from losing its +.. Then you'd see the game having +30s by now. It goes to +4. Not a big deal if the item itself is a lucky one.
