nah its farked up -.-
Every other company would give you a file, you click it and omg it patches! here you gonna download the patch downloader, download the patch with the downloader, find where the hell it saved it, and then it asks you for "user exe". Well im patching the normal way now

i got probs in finding exe files...i cant see my sro_client there

1. Download the patch from the site (Yes, joymax made it into a p2p for a 569.17kb file)
2. Extract the file and Run SilkroadPatch_Zip_Global
3. Put in the following:
Installed: C:\Program Files\Silkroad
Version: 141
Exe file: C:\Program Files\Silkroad\sro_client.exe
4. Download

I got it like that...Now it gives a error that its missing a txt file lol

All that is for is an alternative to patching through the normal sro_client.exe !
If you run normal client and it updates and your playing already dont worry about the manual patch

The downloader is larger than the file... That's pure programming genius!
Edit: And the downloader still managed to fail here...

I cant patch it normal either, it says " The server is under inspection blabla..."

I just got the update in the normal way before I left for a day of marxist lectures.. so unless they did a second update I should be good.

I did the patch walk through posted, took like 5 mins, and now I am playing so its nice. Hera is pretty!

i was having problem i opened sro it was patching slow then it say si need to patch it manually so i close it open it again and its patching
so for those that got the error just like me closing it and opening it again it may work or i just got lucky =3

also i had a huge problem after i patched and 1 really good thing
1st the servers were 100% packed and i got on oasis 1 try second there was like 4 sec lag every 2 sec so i defraged comp and now im fine ^_^

you moist manualy type it in. right click your sro short cut and select properties you should see its location copy and paste it without the "".
