Hacking chances atm

I would like to know if SRO at the moment is any safer from account hacking than before, since now it has that Secure email thing that doesnt let you change your password at all, or your security question.
I was trying to change my pass to one safer (with 12 random numbers and letters) and notice it's a lot harder to change it now than it was before.
So, what you guys think?

as long as you don't download crap from the internet, and keep your password safe, you should be OK

make sure you use email verification with a new email just for the sro account, make the address something like you would make a secure password.
write it down on Paper, keep it in a dresser or somewhere safe / it won't be lost
therefore.. if you get hacked, at least you can keep your account and not have to start all over..
also, if you have like 1b+ gold you should probably spread it out over an account or two.. so if you did get hacked you would still have gold to get back on your feet
remember that if you get hacked.. it may be a keylogger - do NOT try to change your password with the email and secret answer method on the same computer or your account is gone for good.

I hope you're not on the 500k account list or that may reduce the amount of time needed to hack your account considerably. Maybe you should edit your post.

If getting keyloged they will steal all your login/password info email included.
New email exploits come and get fixed all the time, if used email address gets public
it's just a question of effort.

And whoever not hacked, well you can see server load staus ....
It's not the goldbot company that is filling it up now, can tell you that.

Someone posted a list of 500k account id's (not a typo-five hundred thousand account id's). Apparently it contained legit accounts on it as well so it may have been farmed from JM during the original SRO forum security breach. Give me your account ID and I'll check to see if it's on there.

they closed the published portal exploit. people however can and still are getting their accounts stolen via portal exploits. joymax has never been what anyone could mistake as a competent company. the few competent people they hired had their hands tied so bad they may as well have never showed to work. so for the time you play sro remember this. you might loose your account at any moment due to joymax exposing your info. it will be all your fault joymax will do nothing to fix it. so play every moment like it was your last. be thankfull every day things are as you left them. as long as joymax operates sro there is no security.

If you have other language on your keyboard than english the best way to make secure passwords is to choose words from the other language and type it when u are on english, all my pw's goes like -> nvvnmctjh and a random number. impossible to guess, only to keylog.
and well, it's pretty easy to remember even without writing it cause it's actually real words.
