The following thread is super funny to those of us from babel for 2 years. I say its funny cause the guy that started it chaud claimed to be "Legit". Some of you may remember over a year ago a server rollback. That was due to chaud and his buddies gold duping billions on babel. legit my ass. Sorry to link to another thread here but yall locked it.

Chaud is one of those sad stories of a hard core legit going hard core bot. He was once legit, but after a while he gave in.

you know i cant honestly say i know for sure he botted but they sure did dupe billions of gold and got most of their guild banned because of it. he was in a 100% bot union and argued that because his guild was legit it was ok. They caused a major rollback like 36 hours rollback cause joymax didnt even know what the hack was or how they were doing it. Pissed off alot of people who got sos or better drops or had good alchemy success.

that roll back was some bullshit...
rumor has it joymax has yet to fix the gold dupe...

LOL. I was in the same guild as these guys, CHAUD was so anoying
I used to kill him all the time even though we were in same guild. I was away for a few days when this gold duping happened I came back and PURE, Kyela(lemming), CHAUD, and Criterion were banned
. Well its a year later and I decided to come back and get to 80 cap. Still flying the Fable banner as master now as I kicked everyone out
Its nice having a level 5 guild to yourself, I needed the storage

Hmmm does Joymax have a way to check the total gold in circulation on each server? Also if it's not fixed then why didn't he just dupe gold again after the rollback

JM doesnt care about the amount of gold circulating on any server. The dupe gold exploit has since been fixed.

You are almost 100% correct. One thing though, Criterion didnt get banned. He sold his account and the new guy got banned for chargeback or bot. The others banned in gold dupe were Hydralisk and Hyori i believe.
