Remember the 500k list?

Poor Morningdew; ever since the good dews quit [pred, shan, and coffeguy] this new one has had his/her hands full:

why is it that every time someone posts a specific page in the OFFICIAL forum, and i click it, its just takes me to the sro.net main page?

Nah it seems it's just a text file, nothing bad there.
One of my accounts is on the list, I won't tell you which one it is.
It just goes to show that Joymax have had security leaks, they can NEVER admit to that.
They are just going to lie through their teeth to cover anything up.
Would you work for a company like this, I would'nt.
EDIT
By the way, thats one reason NOT to spend your hard earned cash with Joymax.
NO security, NO support, and you could at risk of losing an account you spend money on, or worse, your Paypal/Credit card accounts.

There is no Gameguard in the game..

Doesn't any possible thing you type for an id say wrong pass >.>, I tried some random acc names to test that, they all said the same thing, duno if they just happened to be actual accounts >.>, seemed unlikely though.

It looks like it's a bot list of char names, not account ID's. I found several bot chars on there and no legits.
EDIT: I guess these are account ID's. Maybe the char names I checked are the same as the account names. Botters are such noobs!

Yup, and it's been fake since .. forever lol. Play a game like Cabal and gameguard won't even let you start a DivX movie with it running. It's a joke and will be forever.
Non_Ego_Man, yup in the 50k I have only EVER found 1 account from a friend. I can safely say 75% of my list got their ID's logged form posted on JM's original forum. For the rest, I have no clue how 500k ID's would have been logged. .... Bot DB could be a possibility.

I could only spot-check some chars I know from Oasis. None of the legit chars I know of were on the list. Several known botters were on the list. Many known botters were not on the list. I doubt it's from JM. Could be a gold buying database. Could be a bot database. I have no idea but it is interesting.

The first one of these "lists" that came out, someone keylogged a bot and released it as a free one. That was back during the 60 cap, everyone was laughing their asses off...

My id is not on that list but i still got hacked
. And ive checked some random ones on sro site and they are real.
And i find this interesting the last post on that main site how can accounts not used in 2 years be on that list wtf is going on thank god i quit this shit game.

oO wtf its got one of my first accounts i havnt used in like 2 years i forgot the password for the account how the **** is it on this list.
I made the account played for like a week came back to sro 2 months later forgot my pass so i made a new account this before item mall, auto pot stuff or any bot problem in this shit game but Farking amazingly its on this list wtffffff(my new account is not on the list thank god) .

The validity of this list at first was questionable, but after "testing" the list and checking various account names I have come to the conclusion that this list may have been part of a botter database. Such a large list, i wonder how they could have compiled all these IDs. I assure you these are real IDs, i would not come here posting nonsense.

And i'm not saying you posted nonsense, did you make this list? or have anything to do with it? You just found the post on the sro site forum, then posted it here right? For all you know its a list just random ID's from another game. You know how many accounts there are on sro lol, it actually took a few tries to find the id I used as an example, because the other ones were already in use.
And I meant ingame login screen just says wrong pass.
Just sayin ;d.

Well if it's as easy as some people say it is to get someone's user ID on the main site, maybe scripts can be written to farm user IDs from the website.
I know at least a couple user IDs on that list are real.

at thread starter thnx for giving ppl more ammo for there gun with this link to the list, more ppl use this forum daily (not counting the lvl 1-30 spammers on sro site) so there would be alot less chance of ppl seeing this until now -_- thnx and i hope ur id is on list otherwise i dont think u would of posted it.
also i think a mod should delete the thread?
