Focus on 1 server! Hera/Venus merge idea

As a legit myself, and playing on a pretty filled bot server "sparta, not too bad but not too great tbh" I'm about 70/30 towards moving to venus today, however my char on sparta i have built so well and I'm very happy with it "i wish i could transfer him to venus".
My point to this thread is simply, isnt Hera potentially better than venus? i mean being brand new, cant everyone just do all there plans on venus but on hera instead? i mean why have 2 legit servers? surely we all need to unite and take over 1 server, i think if every legit player is on 1 server then we can leave all botters to the rest of the servers.
Even if the guys who wanna take over hera just say "Oh we will just come to venus" or something, i think this would work better.

while your right that 1 legit server has a better chance at working then many, it would be selfish to tell the Hera people that they should abandon there hopes and come to venus. They have a plan and I hope it works out for them. Telling them not to do exactly what we did on venus would be hypocritical.
from my point of view: venus is already 90% won. Every day venus gets better and better. All legits are welcome. Those who can not participate in Fortress War because they dont stand a chance on there bot dominated servers are welcome to come here and participate. Even a level 20 can enjoy the fortress! Its loads of fun.

if i take a chinese build, pure int s/s will it take me another 8-12 months to hit 7d? I know with a decent guild its possible due to pl "i did a pl for 2 of my guild members and took them from level 23-31".

I'm sorry to disappoint you fly, but the biggest and most annoying problem for legits, the gold bots, isn't solved on venus. They still represent 70% of the connected players.
It's impossible for a legit to connect on "your" server without a ticket. Lots of legits want to join Venus but login isn't possible. So don't ask to join Venus, for every legit using a premium, a normal user without premium is kicked out.

This problem wont be fixed on Hera either, unless you run 24/7 Bot traps at west gate of jangan... any goldbots above lvl 14 will die then.

You need bot traps at all the gates, including the hotan gates, every legit player knows the bot highway starting west of hotan. No legit union is able to remove those bots. And don't forget that with your method you also kill pure legits coming out the town.

No, all you need is one at Jangan West from the start of the server. All the goldbots have a certain level pattern, and they all walk out that gate, die, and delevel. They cant get high enough level to get to DW/Hotan at all. Too bad we thought of this too late on Venus...
Also, if you do this, and own the fortress, you would be making 2bil per taxing session with the 1000+ goldbots stuck in jangan.

Name one server that has accomplished even a tenth of what we have? Of course it isnt perfect, it's FIRST. There are things we know we could have done to make it even better faster... so what?
Legits dont get killed in bot traps FFS. THey SEE what they are walking into. Even if they die once, they dont die twice and at Jangan, the penalty for death is negligible.

any normal person who walks into a bot trap is stupid anyway lmao, and for the sake of a few stupid people "no offence" the servers gold bot problems get sorted.
I love avalon and the work done on venus, i just need to be assured me ditching my main char on sparta is worth it, i have put so much time and effort into it, whilst also going through college and having a gf lmao, so i dont play 24/7

You are game killers, that's all. Look at Venus, I logged in today, constanz is empty excepted the gold selling bots. I checked out the stall system in constanz and samarkand for xbow, nothing. I checked the party page, just one page popping up.
I reloged on Mercury, what they call a "death" server. It's fully crowded in constanz, 5 pages of parties and taxies. Lots of players, lots of stalls, lots of nice stuff to buy. And when you go out they say a friendly hello, wanna join even for a starter.
On Venus, I just noticed union members of avalon in constanz with the "newbee" symbol. And btw, one of your union members was delevelling in samarkand, no help of someone of your bright union to help to ress. She just ran out, got killed, ress in the teleport, etc. ROFL
Just try to put yourself in the role of a newbee, rofl. You didn't solve any problem on Venus. The big bad problem, the gold botters is still there.

It is a problem for legits who have a rare diease called "CSD" which stands for Compulsive Suicide Disorder. Its a very serious diease that makes you run into lightning thiefs and hunt yarkan when you are lvl 15. i dont understand the point made in your post lmao, you complain about lack of pt's and what not in towns, the server has been freed of mostly all player bots, this is the intended goal lmao, venus has as far as i know what i'll class as a "stage 1", breaking down all bot unions "done" now i hear fly is trying to get major legit guilds from xian over, this will pretty much destroy botting 100%, and gold bots eventually will be making literally pennies for profit and wont have any reason to remain active in venus.
Long term goal is then complete, then comes all the real players of sro and all is done
Nightbloom, Fly all you guys sorry if i didnt say exactly your goals but this is just my views

Maybe its because all the people in Constan are in OUR UNION and are now high enough level to hit Samark/Hotan? How is helping them level past the nubby Constan "killing a game"?

Im pretty sure he/she wanted to do it by him/herself. If not, they would have asked in union chat. I dont see anything wrong with doing it by yourself, lol, its not like you have to waste someone elses time EVERY time you decide to be stupid and murder someone. If someone wanted to help you work it off, then thank them. You act like we have to hold every member in our unions hand. If they ask for help, and we are free, we will help them. I'd rather have someone who didnt ask then someone who begs for plvling every 5 minutes.

Deleveling is not powerleveling.
And you admitted, just count on yourself when you join the avalon union, no help. Hazelwitch doing a guild war, he uses the trick of the cleric in the party so that he wins. You don't help members, they have to find out theirselves. So join hera, why merge with venus?
I hope that Hera will start soon ^^If you look for a friendly guild, caring for his member, go on hera.

You ahve no clue i dont get why your flaming avalon unless you think it makes you look "cool" we care about or guilds and union we care about each other and the server is only 2 1/2 months old its not like were gonna all of the people in our union at lvl 80 it just doesnt work that way. If you join Venus and are looking for a plvl from 1-50 or whatever you ahve come to the wrong union we want people who know how to lvl their character im not saying plvling is bad im just saying we are not going to spend that much time lvling your character for you then them saying that their going to another server or them quitting sro and they wont know how to play their character cause they have been plvled through alot of lvls. The only guilds weve warred on venus are bot guild which are already cheating to get their lvl and not to mention they will do the same thing you say witchhazel is doing.

Lets say a gold site makes an average of selling 1B gold per day. Now if Venus did this, then there would be less goldbuyers in Venus, hence having goldbots in Venus would not be productive enough and soon some would start to leave the server to run clients on more popular servers which generate more income to the gold sites. I'm pretty sure Fly and nightbloom have thought of this before. Why have your gold bots running wasting space and time to sell 100m gold in a day? When you can go to Xian and sell 1-5B gold per day. Seems logical that they would leave.

Well why have 1 awesome server when we can have 2? I think that settles the argument
What we really need to do is clean up the older servers. Sure they are probably a lost cause.. but i would give any amount of in game hours to turn greece into what venus is right now.

I spent a lot of time and silk in Oasis. Even with one of the strongest legit unions in the game (yeah, the one that was always called arrogant before Avalon came along) it is a lost cause. I love my Oasis chars but that's life. Botters can have 'em. I'll take Venus.
