So I have somewhat been following the coffeeguys posts, and im not going to discuss his software cuz that will just lock the thread, instead i will past soem of the things he has said that i found interesting=) just wanted to know if its at all plausible.

"A lot of the SRO community believes that PBots(player bots) are the problem, but they arent. PBots generater revenue which pays for the servers to be run, the updates and the staff to produce those updates. So in theory if we say good bye to the PBots then we say good bye to SRO, if thats what you wish to do, then feel free to continue your efforts to prohibit Player Bots. The real porblem is GoldBots. Over crowding server, and making profit from JM(gold bots create much grater profit then iSRO bot will ever produce).

I Have Said Evrything I needed to say, now it is upto you, as individual to make decisions, and I ask of you to not let other influence you, as I see all around this forum there is a huge power missbalance and a lot of hypocritical MODS(I wont point fingers, but you know who you are) Without a doubt a MOD will lock this for the sole reason to silence the oposition, if this was a court, who would be the jury? You cant be a Judge and the Jury, sorry, just doesnt work that way. "

Some have said that the images are false or I some how manipulated SRO. Well before I begin discusing the MODS to SRO I will tell you a bit about myself. After 4 weeks of evaluation I was given a position as a Game Moderator and Q&A Response(Some of you might know me as The Coffe Guy). I have long since left JM because ther company treats its employees worse then its customers. I dont think of myself as any better then anyother player of SRO. I see myself as an equal no matter what methodods smebody else uses to gain their levels. In the end all we are is people behind a monitor, with the same goal in mind, to have fun and enjoy SRO and the life outside of SRO. The reson I spoke about my past is to show all of you, as individuals that I am a person too, no matter what anybody says or does, we are all equal, we all have a voice that needs to be raised. "

And no, we arent supposed to bend over and take it, never said we should. And i was asking about the authenticity of the stuff he has posted... see the difference yet?

Well I guess you miss the fact that it wasnt me that wrote that, it was posted last night but it had contained a lot of BOT information and was removed because of it. Now that there is no BOT software information it shouldnt be removed, atleast acording to the mod who said "It was removed because of Bot Software info"

And what your doing right now is only making the situation worse, flaming doesnt help anybody

and i'm responding to the plausibility of his words. who knows what'll happen when bots r gone. it hasn't happened yet. he's under the assumption that if we ban srf botters, they'll be gone ingame, which is absurd.

It apears more that he is talking about the movement against bots. and if you think about it,if the majority are bots, then the majority of silk buyers are boters, wouldnt they be the ones that pay for the servers? and all the things mentioned?

Those post weren't made by coffee guy, that "guy" is a fake, an impostor, a poser. The real coffeguy posted here in Pred's "I'm a GM" thread, go search for it.

not all botters buy silk. if botters are gone, it'll make sro much more playable for legits. word will get around that sro is botless, and more people will be lured by it. more legits now who have stopped buying silk will start again.

Dont we already buy premiums to get in? Thats a silk income too... and like you said, not all botter buy silk, but lets say fr arguments sake, a server holds 100 people, 90 of those are bots. and 70 of those buy silk. The other 10 out of that 100 are legit, and 2 buy silk. Can you see the difference?

yes, they'll lose 70 out of the 72 silk buyers. but of those 8 legits that don't buy silk. they'll introduce sro to new people because with those 90 bots gone, the 10 legits will have a much better time on their server. jm's income will drop, but it'll get back up sooner or later.

Dont get me wrong, im all against bots, but im taking a look from Joymax's perspective. They will lose 80%+ of their income. all that will remain is 20% whih will be unable to pay for the staff, or th servers. They will have to shut down servers, and they wont have the staff to transfer the SRO data(transfering accoount to diff servers because they are underpopulated) The only option they would have is to shut down sr or restart it...

then restart it. i'd rather have a clean server than a server with bots.

but this all goes back to joymax allowing botters free reign to begin with. it they did much more work in the beginning to dissuade people from botting, sro wouldn't be this bad.

I cant even begine to imagine the problems restarting a Game would make. All the past users who played the game, would charge back. and there goes even that 20% of their income that was left.

jm has dug themselves into a hole

lets clean srf first, then move onto takin over jm.

Cant help to agree with facts? And yes they have, and i dont see a way out of that hole.

i know i can't do nething ingame to dissuage ppl from botting, but on srf, i have just that much more power to do something. since i frequent srf a lot, i'd like to see as little botters as possible showing their face here.

I understand that, but wont it all be in vein? We are trying to make this SRO community better, but if JM tries to fix the bot issues, they will bury SRO in that hole they have made.

If you bought silk, and spent it all; then quit the game for 6 months your account is deleted. If you didn't buy silk and take a 6 month break your account is deleted.

Its in the TOS; people whose accounts are inactive without silk for 6 months have their accounts deleted.
People who have silk and take a 1 year break have their account deleted.
The user has no power in decisions concerning the corporate office, and after thinking of the possibility of massive charge back from Pbots, i have come to this conclusion:

The possibility of massive charge back resulting in a removal of the Joymax agreement with pay pal is superficial. The P-botters are addicted to this game, and if Joymax wants to restart they have no say in the game. There have been countless games that have restarted or "re-rolled" to fix problems, i have yet to see these games "go down the drain" based soely on the actions of some disgruntled "players" who practically live by the Following slogans: "Its just a game" and "I have a life". The best option for Joymax to do is to Shut down SRO for 1 month [omg lack of revenue, blah etc; i hope some of you realize Joymax doesn't only make money from iSRO, as a matter of fact, the amount they happen to garner from iSRO is a petty sum, which can easily be displaced by the cash gained from their multitude of other sources. 21 business days will not hurt Joymax' income.] Then bring it back up, during said break Joymax should do the following to iSRO: [note:isro]
Reset any accounts that haven't been previously deleted, then set the amount of servers to 10. Bring 90 cap and Roc Mtn [just a small translation in code] program an anti-bot tool [like the one mentioned in the announcements on sro.net] and update it weekly. Hire 5 GM's, one GM for 2 servers, who will ban bots - no hesitation - they catch you botting [the few bots that can bypass the anti-bot tool] they ban you, end of story. And of course hire some competent programmers.
