The end of goldfarmingbots

first, srry for my bad englisch:)

Do u know this feeling:
- crouwded servers
- dc all the time
- feel allone, no real ppl annymore only bots
- joymax dont give a damn
- joymax service ..... WHAT service
- loosing friends bercause the dont play sro annymore
- prices of gear skyhigh

WHy, BOTS rule the sro, in more and more forums u can read that ppl starting calling sro: silkroad BOTROAD!!
The most BOTS are goldfarmer bots, the collect srogold and sell it for real U.S Dollars!!
The prices of gear are sky high beacause of this, and servers are countinu crowded..

HOW to make an end of this:

Joymax can easely make a end of goldbot's, how ... its easy
first the qwestion why there are goldbots in sro?

Answer: they are here to gain money from selling srogold ppl can buy from the goldfarmer site's.
Why does Joymax dont put them out of bisness, and start selling sro gold by themselfs ( the do it also on csro): online, just as easy as buying a goldfarmer pet or a devil wing :)
They make sro gold, so the can make the price muts more cheaper than the goldbotsfarmer compagny's.
and because that reason they make no more profit and they will make an end to sell srogold annymore. The compagny's wil get annother game to sell ingame money.

The servers are NOT crouwded annymore we we all can play sro again without gold selling bots

Selling gold for cash should not be tolerated by joymax, let alone having them sell it from their item mall.

My opinion.

are u crazy? joymax selling gold haha.. prices will still go sky high.

the only solution to this problem will be, if people stop buying gold from any gold selling site. Because, if no one buy their their gold meaning no business, so if no business why collect gold. No gold collector meaning no bots, more space to grind both legit players and even botters.

@Aiyas: ya we all wish that but why wait for JM when we can do it our selves?
stop buying gold (i'm not saying i'm buying) and they'll stop selling, why collect and sell gold if no one's buying?

@NuclearSilo: haha that would be very nice..

yeah right, ppl wil NOT buy gold from the compagny's :)
joymax can bann all goldbotters, but the dont
ksro sells srogold from there one store, there are no goldbotters, so why dont the try it on isro?
prises are already sky high, we cant chance that, what the realy can chance is a real bann agains goldbots or sell the sro gold from item mall

If we're wait for JM to act we're waiting for nothing..

when was the last time JM did a massive bot ban?

True, but what's more far-fetched: JoyMax doing something, or SRO players actually doing the right thing and not buying gold?

Sorry if I seem cynical about the whole thing. :(

np.. the thing is, if both JM and sro gamers will do what is right there will be no problem.

JoyMax have the power to make gold if they wanted...

they could sell gold in item mall if they wished too

but then everyone would would be billionares

they let gold companies sell the gold because its taboo, not everyone will buy, but enough to keep joymax's back pocket happy

or maybe another solution:

those pathetic newbies should stop buying gold and earn it the hard way.

Stupidest idea ever, SRO wouldn't be a "game" anymore, it would just be who is richest in real life -_-"

Joymax controls the gold bots...

they fill up the server with gold bots so you buy a premium connection ticket.
or you buy gold...

they know people are to lazy to do it the hardway.

all they have to do is let people sell item mall stuff for gold to other players. same way eve fights against bots

okay so now the player who can get the best bot is richest. if jm sells gold the one with the most real life money will be the richest. not a big difference to me...
theres only one solution: improve anti bot/cheat secutiry and actively kick bots from this game. and you should take stong measures like a life long IP ban for bot computers and so on.

I actually like that idea. I don't buy silk because I don't want to spend real money, but I would love for the opportunity to use gold to buy a rabbit or something from someone else. Silk buyers could "buy" gold by selling their item mall stuff.

Massive bot bans (for gold bots) won't solve anything. Someone above suggested that, but if you ban 3,000 gold bots, 3,000 more will be made overnight. It won't take those 3,000 bots long to get to a level where they can generate a decent amount of gold again.

I agree that the only real way to get rid of gold bots is for everyone to stop buying gold from gold companies for real cash. If Joymax decided to sell gold in the item mall (bad idea I think), then there would be no need for gold bots.

If they would allow silk to be sold for gold, no need for gold bots.

Sadly, we'll never be able to get the community as a whole to stop buying gold.

I say allow item mall items to be exchanged or stalled. That and stop buying gold! :P

The best solution: quit sro or buy premium to play along with the bots.

If you know how to play right and know the economy and being able to benefit from it, you can make a lot of money

That's the idea, if only players stop buying gold. Gold companies won't be selling anymore coz nobody's buying.

hmmm... selling item mall stuffs for gold. That's a good idea problem is we still have CCF'ers, a lvl 1 character can buy premium, ability pets and growth pets. So if JM allow that to happen CCF'ers will be billionairs..

Gold farmers fill servers=frustrated players buying premium...
Gold farmers cause a huge rise in prices=Joymax making more money from the gold botters..

Now lets say they sold gold in item mall...
Prices would fall...
Players wouldnt buy gold...since prices were so cheap..
Less crowded servers which=less premium sold

Isn't the whole point of CCF to buy item mall stuff, sell it to someone (or give it for free) then do a chargeback?

They should make it so once you buy something from the item mall and activate it, you can't charge back. (Can you chargeback - successfully - for paid music downloads from iTunes and the like?) You pay for the stuff, use it, and then there's nothing to 'return'. Joymax should be able to set it up so those items can be exchanged freely.

That won't make it so less item mall stuff is sold. Instead of, say, me and my wife buying silk for a premium/grabber/elephants/globals/etc/etc, someone else can buy 2 sets (plus one for themselves) and sell the 2 sets to us. Same amount of sales for Joymax.
