Illegal silk?

Post by Fury »

So out of the blue, i decide to just browse a gold site (dont get any ideas, iv'e temporarily quit sro) and i see that not only are they selling gold and plvling service..but also silk. So i was wondering, if they sell silk then joymax must approve of these sites and what they do. Correct me if Im wrong..

Reason why they silk is for Places where paypal isnt avalible so they set it up for them so the Customer can pay though a credit card. this way is more expensive then paying for it the Legal way

Indeed. That's why I've never had my own Silk, and that's why people here all buy their Silk through certain sites, which I will not name.

It's a question of location, really. These sites could prove semi-useful as far as myself and the gaming community here in Romania is concerned, but I wouldn't use them, simply because I don't trust them (letting aside the fact that it's not completely legal).

I'm almost positive that a few months ago Joymax had a message concerning this, and as I recall some people got banned, maybe due to chargeback by one of these companies?

This is just what I remember.. I'd rather not go to the silkroad website and look through all the past notices.

nah, if they sell cheaper than joymax, then they're CCFers... meaning, they got a stolen credit card and they're just selling from it... which means, morally wrong and illegal and well, if the credit card's owner does a chareback or something, you'll get yer ass banned... so never buy silk unless it's from silkroadonline.net
