i've never used alchemy before so im kinda stuck with what to do with it. I've tried reading the guides, but it all seems a bit complicated at first.. so i have a few questions. Can you only do alchemy at a certain level? im level 14 atm and all of the alchemy slots are grayed out.. also, what do i need to do to add it to a weapon to improve its strength, attack etc..

any other help is welcome, thanks!

To add blues:
You can find certain items called Tablets, there are Green ones and Red ones, the red ones can make your White stats (critical mag/phy atack powder) better/worse, depends on your luck.the green ones add blues, like Str, Int HP/MP on your head chest and legs.

First you must have a tablet, and the elements needed with (it sais which elements are needed at the botom of the tablet).
if you have those press "Y" and put your tablet and the elements in, click "fuse" and you now have a stone, this stone can be used on a weapon or on your armor (it sais in the discribtion of the stone on what you can use it).
Stones come in 10%, 20% and 30%. 10% stones have the highest chance of working.

if you want to add + on your weapon/armor you must get elixers.
Weapon elixers (obiously) for weapons.
Protector elixers for your armor.
You will also need Lucky powder, you can buy this at the grocery store in any town.
The weapon/armor piece you want to add + on has a Degree, when you hold your cursor at the item you can read what it is (level 1-7 degree 1, 8-15 degree 2, 16-23 degree 3 etc.)
You need to buy lucky powder that matches your items Degree.

now you press Y again, and go to the second tab, here you put your weapon/piece of armor in and put the elixer in the second place, and lucky powder in the third, now press fuse and hope it works ^^
Its the same for stones, you press Y and go to the second tab, you put your weapon/piece of armor in and your stone in the second place and press fuse.

+ ing gets a Lot harder when you get to a higher +, usualy +0 till +3 works, depending on the items luck, +4 will get harder, and so on.

Hope it was usefull to you, good luck pimping your gear ^^

I know u want to help, but there are a few mistakes

10% doesn't 'work best', it just has a lower % of assimilating other stats on your gear.

and they also come in 0%, 5% and 35% (not sure if there are any 15% and 25%, but i haven't had any of them myself)

lucky powders increase your chances of having the equipment increasing in +, but it is still possible without using them... (just a lot harder)

Yupp there are also 5% and 35%, only those only come from breaking items.
and since lucky powder increases chances, why not use it lol ^^
anyhow your right about the Asimilation thing =] my bad.
