So I just started on a new character and it's a euro. Good thing my chinese fully farmed character is an archer. I dont even need to use imbue.

Multi is a 3rd party program as you have to download it, it doesn't come with sro originally..

no its not,, multi/no dc is a modified sro_client, just like the pk2 is a modified media.pk2 file, not a 3rd party program

Multi-Client IS a 3rd party program and a naughty one at that, the difference between PK2 Editing and Mutli Client usage is PK2 editing is not done for any personal gain, whilst that isnt so true with the use of Multi Clients.

pk2 is for personal gain.. thats the only reason poeple do it, they change it for the fact to HELP them, why dont we just say, that they are just illegal

multi client only effects the user, no one else, doesnt hurt anyone.

On topic: Tried it once. Failed. It took twice as long to level because my plvld char died constantly. I'd blame it on the other computer but I think I'm just a noob plvler.

That wasn't what I answered for... Nader said that Multi-client doesn't affect anyone else but the user, but it does. And so does using 2+ computers.

Multiclient harms the rest of teh server...you take 2 slots. The is especially crap if you are botting 2 accounts, as if one wasn't (bad) enough.

pk2 doesn't harm anyone


Joymax can however ban you for pk2 ... and for multi as well

well whats the difference when having to take 30 minute to log into 1 account then having to log in 2, no matter what there will be traffic and you will always have a hard time so it doesnt effect other poeple,

Yes sro_loader is classed as a 3rd party program And muti client AFAIK Cannot be done via editing the pk2 it has to be done Via Editing the .EXE! or editing values stored in the ram much like a trainer for a game Which is a dum dum DUMMM a 3rd party program

ok does that mean that multiple bots are logging on from one computer ... if so my argument still stands regardless of the method used the end result is the same ... inconvenience to 'actual' players.

Here is how i see this issue. multiclient/clientless results in people not playing the game taking up server space. Regardless of whether you bot or not, it's easy to see that a person who actually plays the game deserves the spot on the server more than the bot.

well i am a player i dont bot, so its the same as me going 10 feet to my dads pc and logging on and doing it the same way, so it really doesnt hurt anything, and i dont think ANY cmputer can actually funtion well with more then 2 clients

Player Gold Bots run off Multiclient. Real Gold-Bots run off clientless like shoto said but unlike player gold bots, 1 computer with clientless can have over 9000 gold bots where as I've heard some my friends struggle keeping 4-5 clients up at once.

Actually u are wrong nader.

A no dc client gives you an illegal and unfair advantage over another user. It gives you the ability to log in much easier than another user. Since multiclients come with no dc you are also abusing that.

Now you are also taking up free server space by an illegal way. If you can simply go to your dads pc, why don't you do it? That is the illegal alternative and you are allowed to do that. By using a multiclient you are breaching joymax's tos and you are also breaching the rules of srf.

You are just bigger a deeper hole for yourself little boy.

And pretty much everything that shoto said was right. You would do well to learn a lesson from him.
