From the SilkRoadOnline forums. But strangely it's not posted on the main webpage. Can anyone confirm??

Silkroads 30th server,Hera , will open on February 5th, 2008 Silkroad Standard Time.
Server Name Hera Open Date 5/2/2008 Silkroad Standard Time

does it matter? how long will it be crowded again like any other server.... you thought you started out as new with many others.. but you'll soon realize that those many others are abcasdf, asdf, goldgold, axdsf, lllliiiillll and CVCV.

some guild with alot of bots will join that server bot up fast and in two weeks take the fort and have unlimited gold and rule the server cause no legits would have a chance at capturing the fort from them.

All we know is the next server will be named Hera.
JM sometimes announces the opening date for new servers, and sometimes they dont. Unless it is an official announcement from their forum, its speculation until proven otherwise.

In order to maintain a pleasant gaming and smooth patching experience, all servers will be undergoing weekly server inspection.
Weekly server inspection will occur every Tuesday.
Server Inspection Period : Feb 5, 2008 13:00~16:00 Silkroad Standard Time (3 hour duration)
Web Inspection Period : Feb 5, 2008 13:00~15:30 Silkroad Standard Time (2 hour 30 minute duration)

- Database backup
Nothing about a new server.

I don't see the point in all this posts about it going to be a big change...it won't..in a few weeks or sooner after it's released it will be like every other server crowded 24/7 full of bots and all that crap..Hell I am probs going to give up on this game soon anyway..
