the spammers can stay on for hours and i can only stall for 45 minutes or less before i get dc'd?

i can stall for days sometimes.

ok i pinged http://www.silkroadonline.net and all request timed out and i pinged http://www.joymax.com and all request timed out and the game is running right now so i know i have some kind of connection so what exactly am i pinging? lol

If you open a commandline (cmd.exe) while you are in-game, you can use netstat to see the IP address you are connecting to to play SRO. Ping that IP address and see what kind of result it gives you.
