Player bot's point of view about botting

Botting, a "business"! Seriosuly these bots are becoming bigger and bigger cretins each day, but lesson learned, no more random guilds for me.
Looking for 100% legit guild on Mars!

and yeah, botting IS a business to some people. I've met people in game that bot 3 characters at a time just to strip them compeltely naked at 80 and sell them to people willing to pay USD for the through paypal, western union, etc.

If you're not willing to accept these facts the u're better off just leaving this game because as long as joymax does nothing about it, a person can get a couple hundred $$$ every 2 months or so just constantly botting up chars to 80 just to sell them.

Also yes it is a business for some people. For chars that they bot to 80 to sell they won't use item mall stuff they'll just plvl it. The price of a bot isn't gunna effect the final income of the person. Its a fact get over it.

I wouldn't liken botting to having someone else have sex with your girlfriend for you, I think a better analogy is that it's like taking performance enhancing drugs in professional sports. You wouldn't call taking steroids to get stronger to earn more money playing sports "bussiness". You'd call it cheating, ruining the game for everyone else. If he's so bold to call botting up characters "bussiness", tell him to register a business name with the government and get money back on his tax return for his "business expences" (ie. silk/bot). But no, he wouldn't do that... because he's just some punk kid pretending to be a bigshot at everyone else's expense.

Botting and selling characters? =/ Seems like a waste. I mean, I'd understand if it was a last resort thing (quitting and selling your character because you urgently need money), but to actually put effort into first building a character and getting it to 80 just to sell it? (Botted or not, it's a waste in my opinion.)

well yea there is a lot of business around silkroad , like with gold but also with chars. So many ppl have their own business. Anyway the reason of botting for ppl that want play the game , is that they want be max lvl fast and go play the real game : triangular conflict , fortress etc.. they simply dont want loose time killing a stupid mob for ages 8 really annoyng in my opinion ....

idk in my opinion grinding 1-80 is only a way to practice the player and be ready for the real one after 80...

The sad thing to realise is people never have any intention of playing their character at all.

As I think has been said (sorry, I skipped a few posts) that playing your character is half the fun, learning the way to use your skills to survive and adapting to a given situation. They don't gain this from botting unless you had played the same build previously.

And to be completely honest and to the point, it's most of these players who think certain things are cheap, because they don't have the experience in using it themselves. "If I didn't think of it, you can't" (a rough guess, based on many many individuals I have seen)

It is truely sad to see this is what Silkroad has descended into.

if he cant afford a good pc, multiclient programs and time you cant make a business out of silkroad.
he simply want to justify his botting.

the reason why people bot is addiction. there are only a few guys who multiclient with the goal to sell those chars.

I really don't take this game that seriously. It's a game. I often go afk while I'm grinding just to help my daughter put a puzzle together or get a toy off a shelf, and just let my character stand there getting attacked.
