IIRC, Ksro's Euro's have a 10 second pot delay, meaning that eventually, Isro's Euro's with have a 10 second delay.

With the Euro's delay getting shorter and shorter (30, 20?, 15, 10) and lack of increase in pot size, wouldn't people start abandoning their Chi character and go Euro? I mean, the only disadvantage a Euro has is their delay, reduce or take that away and what's the point of using a Chi character?

I'm a Pure rogue and I can quite easily solo a giant Yacha (lvl 70) with a 15 sec delay, I only need to use a vigor if i get critted.

they want everyone to try they new things so they do something even if it is very small just to keep everyone hooked such as the fortress war, they knew they was loosing hella people from the site bug they had so the released it early in hope that people would stay which for the most part worked

If the pot delay gets decreased it will only be to counteract a increase in the power of chinese skills.

Pretty obvious when you think about it.

Well all i can say is that they will implement a few new skills for Chinese that have some edge to them, cus imo the euros with less pot delay, and the already high end dmg output...it just isnt fair tbh. Then again, when the islam race is released, maybe all will be balanced.

Very good news altho i hope this is true and yes i think when islam race is coming out, ppl are going to complain about how strong islam race is, how predictable

Euros don't need a pot decrease. -_-

But I guess when a lot of noobs go 1v1, it makes sense. For parties you don't need it though. I don't even use pots. =/

with grains, vigors and pots euro had no problem anyway don't think this will change much at all.

From a business standpoint that is probably correct, makes sense. Make one character type more attractive, persuading people to switch and spend more money building that new character. Unfortunately for JM it's so easy and fast to powerlevel, ticket or no ticket, that you really don't need to spend that additional money creating a Euro, especially if you already have a high lvl farmed chinese character!

You shouldnt talk about Islam race, no point in it because you wont see that one for atleast 3+ year so...

Chinese just have to be fast and use detection stuff to make sure no one can backstab them, even with low pot delay the real dmg dealers (rogue and wiz) have low hp and not that great defense (unless they bless themselves)

They made euro and the party grind system to actually have their users play(to the botters). Which is why they're a powerful as a group. Learn to have a GOOD euro group you can't die. But what happened it backfires on them and yet you see euros botting.

EXACTLY what I was gonna say!

I mean in kSRO right now they have what? 90 or 100 cap's As the level caps increase, there will be new gears to increase the players def's and new skill which do more damage, and especially new weapons that can kill faster. So all in good terms this makes total sense, no need to be amazed if you give it some thoughts

The lower the pot delay, the higher the chances of people botting euro chars with silk.

+1 (i found statement funny) everybody shouldn't start assumeing about euros and chinese (even if said thing happened in other version of SRO), just stop making threads and play the game and wait till the update comes. it will happen when it happens.

Still no matter how the pot time decrease Euros can not be compared to Chinese..this is a race and this is a race..each race has its pros and cons..Euros arent as versatile and solo-dependable as Chinese..doesnt matter if they decrease the pot delay to 10 or whatever.

Besides we already got grains with low pot delay..after the last event just stock dozens of them and pvping in high lvls will be easy.

Besides you dont really see much Euros playing in KSRO vids do you?...i personally watched over a dozen KSRO pvp vids and i rarely see any Euros around..If Euros got that powerful i dont think most of them wouldave kept on playing Chinese..especially that Euro is way more fun than Chinese so clearly they get average/bad after 120cap update...not so sure though i mean its just some vids but come on like John_Doe said just wait and see.

according to the rumours on silkroadforums:
-Euro will get weaker the next update, to balance things out
-Euro will never get Sun weapons, to balance things out
-Euro will get a smaller pot delay, to balance things out

So if everything is correct what i read here soon euro will be similiar to chinese? Whats the point of putting in years of work to create the euro update?

I donno where you got that from but pot delay in ksro is still 15sec for euros

eh i've been fine with 15 second delay since euro mostly int builds i've been, but what ever i'll take it, though not sure how fair that is to chinese. You don't really need 10 second pots, though most euro's get stuck soloing cause there are no parties cause every one i too busy botting or plvling, maybe its more fair to the euros stuck soloing.
