I just created my first char on Silkroad and I'm having some trouble. I cant figure out how to play. Someone earlier today told me to use return scroll and I have been trying for awhile now. I want to play really bad. Can someone please help?

I'm just standing in Jangan all alone. This is sad. Someone reply something.

Any ideas? Anyone?

well you can use the arrow keys to move...you can use your mouse and duble click on a monster to kill (the ones that you want to kill right now reside outside of Jangyang, the city you are standing in)....press H is you have any trouble

Tips: -F9 will change camera angle
- V will disable people and you can only see npcs and stall boxes in town
- F12 will make your screen picture mode
- H is the help menu
- I is your item menu
- Q is your quest menu
- 1-0 is your quick bar

Go out the gate and whack at mobs till you level up, just any other MMO?

Near the West Gate, there is this guy named General SOyhenon (sp?). talk to him and you'll get ur first tutorial. Hope that helps.

I cant move at all...

I told you to use a return scroll. Press I, right click the thing that says return scroll (kinda looks like a scroll i dont know how else to put it).

Scroll with your mouse to change the zoom
Right clicking with mouse will result in screen movement
Left clicking will allow youo to move to a certain spot or arrow keys for constant movement
Double click to atk/talk to something or pick something up-or press ctrl+left click to atk something
Press Z to see items on the floor.

Have fun on SRO...but beware of server traffic

the scroll wont work

GO and lvl up, kill Mangyangs, collect all they drop, use potions to heal yourself, collect gold, to buy potions.

Try Guides And Tutorials section, there is guide about lvl'ing

Then your screwed make a new character.

How can I lvl up if I cant move?

I created a new char. It didn't work. I went to a different server and created a new char. Still it didn't work. Someone please help me.

Any Ideas?

I think I might just give up and go play WoW.

uninstall, not worth the effort you are putting into it. unless you like disappointments.

this happened to me back in year 2006 i could not move..
so i turned the game off and went a bed..
next day i could move..
so i donno, should work in time

0. Login to your game character.
a) Press F1.
b) Press I

1. Press <Print Screen> button on top right, usually above the <insert> key.
2. Goto the screenshot folder \\%drive%\"Program Files"\Silkroad\Screenshot\
3. Verify the picture taken.
4. Upload the screenshot using htt://www.imageshack.com
