Lawl, i'm bored atm so I thought: Hey, let's share some funny moments over here! So here I go

One time i met some dude who was pretty nice, and he invited me for a xp distr. and item share party. Then he said he wanted to see how an SOS drop looks like , and since i had a full SOS 6th deg prot set with SOS 42 spear, he asked me to drop my SOS spear lvl 42.. Well, i wasn't completely stupid, so i said: Every sos looks the same, so i'll do something of low worth, and I dropped my Sos 6th deg hands... He even stood at an distance, and I dropped the sos, waited 5 sec, and grabbed it up. I had it back. He said that he didn't see it, so I dropped it again. I grabbed it up again, and BAM! Gone SOS! He had it, and then he quickly logged off

I was scammed and raped... Lawl ^^ How dumb was I, for not noticing this ^^ I didn't really care, but it was pretty dumb of me

Well, that's all i wanted to tell ^^

Its a good thing now alot of players know about this scam, so it rarely happens (but still does).

Well I'll share one of mine. Was playing around at the Arena at takla taking screenshots while waiting for yarkan. So I didnt had my sword and shield equiped. Then I sat on a horse and waited. Few seconds later Yarkan spawned and wasnt there, so I raced to temple. When I saw Yarkan I quickly got off the horse, zerked and nuked. He attacked me (for quite a bit of damage) and my nukes werent hitting him hard enough. When my zerk finally weared off that I realized I wasnt using any sword or shield <.<.

Even though I didnt get the kill, I was happy I didnt die and dropped my sword shield <.<.

Aesthetic is right. There have been plenty of "Ive been scammed" threads lately. Its really not that hard not to trust anyone and be wary of everyone you meet an cautious of everything you do. It was a very stupid mistake that could have been easily avoided.

i remember when the "i can +7 you weapon" scam was first around

the best is to fk with those ppl and make them follow you around for like 10 mins while you do what you need to do(buy pots, repair, etc.)

its stupid because why would you drop your sos in the first place? unless you're filthy rich. then it would only seem stupid to me because i only have 300k. which could probably buy only the crappiest sos

...You know that saying "Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you?". Well, I think both times the shame was on you.

I really don't understand how dumb you would have to be to do that...seriously. How do people fall for that, do you live in lala land where you have never suffered from trusting obviously suspicious people?

I would like someone to explain that to me, because I can't seem to grasp stupidity.

we had this loud mouth that came back after several months of playing try to mess with this other player and drop his 32 reg white spear instead he drops his +5 sos 32 spear and they starts yelling in ventrilo that he got hacked by the player and he made him drop it lawl...what a noob lol was funny here listening to it

I got a story of mine too ><
When I was a little newbie in SRO like 2yrs ago at lvl30ish. I had an sos shoulder protector and was looking to sell it. So like every you do the WTS in all chat. This guy pm'ed me and said Ill buy for 1 000 000gold ! I was like oh my money money money 0_o
Then he met me and put 1 000 000gold then switched it quick to 100 000gold >< so yeah wasnt a big loss but still thats when i got my lesson that people in SRO unlike other mmo's are dicks.
BTW that scam storry ends with the guy giving me 400 000gold more so I got 500 000gold for that sos

I actually put up the oldest trick in the MMORPG history. I am a vrey busy women I was feeding my kid while we were trading i didnt see what you put but oh well I guess 100 000gold is ok. I am fine with it, I just wished I had a million because I am broke...he felt bad and gave 400kgold back hehehe

Once a guy at yeowas (the red mermaids) got the kill of a giant and it droppd a lv 42 SoS glavie.. as soon as I saw that I pkd him and when I was about to pick the glavie up some goldbot came and did that for me -.-
