Dilemma :/

Imagine you’re a member of small guild with only a few really active members (some have multiple chars) and some of those members are also well known to you in real life.
They have a lot of fun in guild chat and help eachother when necessary. And what’s important they are legits.
Now this guild is part of a Union with a lot of botters (some of them are proud of the fact if you read the union chat). What would you do?
Leave the guild thus abandoning your mates and join a legit guild/union (although you’re not absolutely sure if they are legits anyway)? Try to persuade the guildmaster to leave the union (although there are some familyties between the various guilds) and you don’t think that it will happen? Or carry on and ignore the union and just stick with your legit mates in that small and friendly guild?

Finding a large legit union is difficult if not near impossible. I'd say stick with the current union. If you enjoy jobbing, grinding, or whatever you do within the union, then let that be your decision. Being part of a botting union doesn't nor should invalidate your own "morality."

If you haven't noticed it yet, Deacon is rather proud of his all legit union. I think that he's suggesting that you join it.

My mistake, I thought your union was on Oasis [judging by the fact you guys both had Oasis flags,] and that you thus reffered to it. Now I'm just confused.

Yes I am on oasis. Yes I got a own union. But its full and I don't really recruit on forums. I just wanted to HELP him in his situation, if he wanted to switch union to a bit big active union. And one that is legit ( as far as I know )

Yes we know that union is legit.(From what you said in your 100s of post on it) Is there a need to say that over and over? You seem like you want someone to say that thats a botting union?

I am NOT talking about my OWN union. I'm telling him that DUKES UNION is a LEGIT union on OASIS as far as I know and IF he wanted to swtich UNION he could JOIN them maybe!

This isn't really helpfull as it doesn't solve my "problem". Never heard of the Dukes-Union. Anyway, the question is if you would leave a small friendly guild with legit members which is part of a larger botter union?

. @Shimrod, stay in your guild, as long as you enjoy gaming with your friends in your legit guild, it wont matter how dodgy your union is.

It all depends on your ethics. You are against botters, but you have friends in your legit guild that is in a botting union. Hard dilemma. If you're going to depend on your ethics, I'd talk to your guild leader first to join a legit union.

I'm in a guild with 2 of my best *internet* friends
Just us 3 and a turk that logs in here and there.
And no other guild I'd rather be in <3
*We could use some expansion though
, kind of sad for a level 5 guild*

Leaving real life friends to hang with a bunch of strangers isnt always a good idea. If u find ur guild fun then unless ur union is deliberatly ksing u while u grind or kill u while u job, then i see no reason in leaving.

friends will remain friends especially when you know them in real life, changing a guild or union should not change much in the relation between you and your friends.
another big problem in silkroad, people consider you automatically as an enemy if you don`t belong in their union
