they say they last like 2 hours and 30 minutes, but i know they last shorter, but what is the normal length of the inspections?

It usually ends 30 minutes earlier or later, but never on time.

Eh I never clock it but i think they are close to ontime with it.

If i remember. But that was one time for me when i logged on
