Ok, my level 42 sos +4 shield, i wanna make it +5 for the new glow but i dont wanna ruin it.

If i buy magic stone of astral, it says +4 wont go back to +0 if i use this. it also has steady 2 times as a stat on the shield, oh and also lucky 4 times.

So if i get an elixer, astral and lucky powder will i get to +5 do you think? Also, if it doesnt work will all the blues go?

for Astral To Work you also need immortal

blue wont go away, it'll just stay +4 until astral runs out

but it might break if immortal isnt on it

So if i buy an immortal, can i place that on the shield without it breaking?

Don't waste money on an astral or immortal
Why?
immortal - you won't need it from +4 --> +5. It's REALLY, REALLY rare that it will break. I'm talking less that 1% chance. Don't waste your money.

Astral - +4 is easy to get on a shield. you'd have to pay for an immortal AND an astral anyway, waste of money imo.

You say it has lucky 4 times, just get a shield elixir, lucky powder and fuse how it is.
It's about an 80% chance of success (or more) in my experience. In the last month I've went from +4 --> +5 with lucky on at least 6 items and failed once. (8D items)

My opinion.

u can add immortal on ur shield w/o breaking it. it's 100% sure. if that's what u meant. but if you're asking if items with immortal won't break, then i'm not sure but i hear they still have a chance to break, only lesser..

But already today i tried to take a friends basic sword to +3 and it worked, so i went for +% and it broke back to +0, then again broke at +2

This shield cost me 27kk, i saw a +5 sos shield for 37kk but after buying my sos +5 sword and sos +4 shield so im like 5kk short now

I may try and do this to +5 then, i just want the glow tbh lol.

keep it +4 and save ur money

If you think you can't get it back to +5 when it fails, then don't do it. I always have enough money to make something go back to the way it was so I never buy astral or immortal. I can't even buy astral or immortal anyways :p
