So... after playing on troy for around 2 years, i got hacked.
Actualy my trust got abused ^^ i gave some1 my pass ive known since i started the game.
funny how ppl "are a friend" for around 2 years, and then when you let them on your acount they change the password ... T.T
Anyway, for all you other ppl out there, dont trust anyone with your pass >.< *Not even the ones you compeltly trust*

So sad >.> how low people can be sometimes ^__^

i dunno if ill start over again, lost 2 much lol, and since i was a Legit getting around 400m, and to lvl 72 took me 2 years, so i wont be doing that again in a fiew weeks or so lol.

o well, have fun in Silkroad ppl ^^ And DONT trust ppl with your pass.

Atm lots of ppl offer me powerlevel only the hard thing is that will get me a high level char, but one with noob gear ^^
so making money again will be the hard part ^^

i trust 2many ppl.. most of them i know in rl and they arent kids (20-35 years old) basicly older ppl not scammers - kids are..all depends how u know to rate ppl.. i was borowing sun +8 spear, sun swords, shield to ppl who lives 20000km from me and i always got them back.i also have access to over 15 80 lvl friends chars =)

ppl have trusted me with Many sun weps/gear and so on tho.
The one i gave my pass to actualy is over 40 ^__^ lol
i cant even be certain she did it, only the co incidence i give her my password and after 1 week im hacked (after not being hacked for 2 years)
Some ppl are trust worthy, and some pretend to be i guess T.T

If I had a premium token for everytime someone posted a topic about getting hacked then I wouldn't be complaining about server traffic.

I trust like 7 people from my guild to login and play my account, i have let people onto my account a few times in the past.

But its hard to know if you can trust someone you dont know irl

Trust is something that I never had much faith in, in this game. You trust someone in sro and thats what happens 98% of the time.

So be it its still only a game anyway so ^^ i play for fun and ill have fun again for how long it may last ^__^

Those are two separate and distinctly different actions.

One is you being "hacked", the other is you trusting someone and getting let down.

Couldn't agree more with you dude, only three people knows my account, my best friend, a unionmate who happens to be 38 years old and another friend who thinks that a friendship is worth more than some pixelated items

i think you should change the topic name to "scammed" not " hacked". so many people get scammed not hacked then go around saying them beed hacked.. use the email system they have set up that way no one can change your password unless they can get in your email account. even then you can get it right back. would you give out your online baking info? no theny why do it for anything else? you just asking for them to take it.. if you remove the temptation then there is less of a chance of something happening.

i understand it sucks, but this is your fault. dont come crying to us. i am just waiting for the post that says i am going to start over on a new server anyone willing to help me out or p lvl me or whatever..

for all i know know you never got past lvl 20 and you looking for free help. not saying thats what your doing but it has been tried and i bet done.

Sorry to hear that... once again proves not to trust any 'friends' that you only know through the internet.

Trust is an interesting concept without a doubt.

Take me for an example. I have a great close mate who i met here on srf. After a lot of talk on msn / myspace.. i ended up becoming good mates with them. I later moved to their server, greece. After playing there for a fair few months now we have built up a lot of trust between the two of us. I know the id and password to both of his account, one including a lvl 70 character. I help him power level his account because i have 2 pcs and i have even transfered gold from one account to another for him. If this person is reading this they will know who u are.. i didn't say your name for obvious reasons.

But i have never even thought about scamming him. Friendship is a special and sacred bond, its something that shouldn't be abused. And for what? a few pixels? I ain't gonna go break the strongest of human emotions for a few computer generated items.

You may of lost an account but she lost something greater, friendship. She may not realize it today, she may not realize it tomorrow, but one day she will. And when that day comes she will regret even contemplating the thought.
