if you dont have anouther good weapon like a +7 to use if it fails dont do it, I made my +9 since I had 2 differnt +7's to use, once mine was +9 then a couple of days later I made my other staff a +8, then tried for 2 +9's and one failed, now I have a +7 and +9 again after getting it back from +0.

Same opinion, only go for +9 when you have a spare weapon, and a decent one. So if you have a +7/+8 in reserve, do it. Otherwise, don't.

sure go for it and enjoy trying to get it back to +7-+8 ^^ I can't even get mine to +7 after 500+ tries.

the green glow is not worth 1200 more wep elixirs and 20 imortals....
yet again it would go....and u only need 1 powder and 1 elixir...muhuhuhuhhahahah

don't do it!
IF it fails, which it probably will, you'll hate sro and cruse at alchemy and all that. Then u'll be thinking "I just had to go for it" and may never get a +8 again!

Eh build up your wep elixers and stuff first. If I had my wep at +8 I would just get stockpiled with wep elixers and money irl for astrals/immortals then try.

Wait after inspection bro.
My union master has gotten over 20 +9's and his +11 Xbow (posted pics) and done it all once the servers went of after inspection.
EDIT: Max the Lucky, immortal, and Steady (6 times).
