No Lith, and we really don't need this kind of crap on here.

Not every legit plays Venus, but there's a lot of us. There are at lest 2-3 legit unions, including ours. The fortress is held by a legit union. The botters are being beaten at every turn, and as we keep gaining levels we keep getting stronger.

So if you wish to restart on Venus, don't be afraid to.

EDIT: Woops, noticed I missed a bit. Avalon has a Lv42 minimum, but I think some exceptions are being made about that. PM Fly (with an L) about Avalon. He might direct you to a union guild. If not, I know Odyssey is an upcoming legit union that are looking for members.

To be honest strong comminity encourages me to lvl and stay in sro, but its hard to find that now days :banghead:

Up to you. We have very few Chinese characters in the guild as we're mostly Euros.

The other guilds not interested to challenge until they lv80 and sit down to the pc to pvp

The bots are crying, I dunno if they're even going to bother now. We beat all their capped players at the last fortress war like they were nothing. =P

Not for long. Legits will, per definition, lose to botters eventually. You can not beat a machine that can do everything you can do, except more, and faster.

Eventually = keyword. Perhaps you are euros with lots of rouges (overpowered). In the end, it wont make a huge difference though. You won't be the ones with the best gear. Don't take this the wrong way, I would like legits to "win", but I have to be realistic.

We're Euros, but we're far from having a ton of rogues and wizards. It's called teamwork, and knowing your role in a party. Fighting as a group instead of solo members and being able to do it well, because that is also how we grind, is something the bots won't be able to do as well as us.

Any faults one player has, another person compliments. Let them get their good gears. To wizards and rogues, they're still one shots. To a good party, they can be tanked, weakened and defeated. This has been done already, and will continue to be done.

Unrelated to the quote above,

Legits form the heart of every server, keeps the community alive, exciting, drama, and thats all just because the players are there in front of the computer. Most botters would be afk, so its just another charachter no different than a gold bot. Not accusing anyone of how they play this game (that we all love to play), but keep this rivalry between the groups in your server where it should be.

Its great whats happening in Venus, wish that would happen on every server. I just hope not all legits would congregate in venus xD.

I reckon it'd be pretty interesting if every legit played in Venus. The guild wars, job wars and fortress wars would be heaps of fun. A lot of people could start to enjoy it again.

But hey, I'm not gonna force people to leave their characters behind. It's all personal decision, really.

It is not a discussion of botters being afk. If they are afk, whether they are bots or not, then obviously, they wont "bother" you. But when you face them, they will most likely bother you. And you will face them - which is going to be problematic.

It is indeed great what is happening. The only reason i made a comment was because of this guy claiming that "we beat them down at every turn" - something that won't last.

Actually, by not trying to counter, you're not actually proving your point. Yes, bots can plevel Euros. Yes, bots can invest more time into the game. No, bots can't know their characters inside out. No, bots can't work as an effective team.

They can have the same classes, but still won't understand a Euros true power. Let me ask you, how many wizards have you seen tank without Bless or Screen? Probably not many, but it's possible. The same way it's possible for a Euro party to be completely self-sufficient, and not have to use any potions.

How many bots do you see make effective teamwork and strategies? Oh no, here comes their Euros!... wait, they don't know how to play as proper Euros. Lets see what a bot will raise from Euro.

-Rogue
-Wizard
-2H warrior
-Cleric

Now, lets understand it. Rogue and wizard are straight forward in 1v1 PvP, but they won't understand how to play in a team. Same thing for wizard. Only warrior they want is 2H because they want damage. As for their understanding of a cleric, it's a few buffs, a few heals and res.

Knowledge is power. Teamwork is power. As individuals we are weak. As a team, we are strong. Now you see what I mean?

No. You misunderstand. I'm not taking part in some glorified "if i crit you first, i win. No, not if i nuke you first." - type argument.

Powerlevel is irrelevant. Bots can solo, or grind in a group. Speed is not so much a factor since they can grind all the time. My claim is not that a player that use a bot and has a character that is 10 levels lower than your "legit" character, will beat your character.

A sosun item can mean the difference between winning or losing. A bot has a higher probability of getting one.

The "they dont know how to use their characters" is old and has been proven to be incorrect. They don't need to try to figure things out, they simply copy you and do the same thing - except with better gear - assuming the only way to "beat" you is to "mirror" you. If that is the case though, then you are winning because you use imbalanced classes.

SRO is not a difficult game. It does not require an actual strategy. It is also a lot faster to "learn" how to use a character than to find a SOS item. Understanding to use bless or some other spell is very easy.

In the end, all things being equal (classes and "knowing how to use a character"), the team with the better gear will win most of the time. And this will probably not be you.

What exactly in your "teamplay" is it that you feel is fairly unique, and so hard to "learn" without grinding manually for 3 months, that most people would have difficulty in picking it up?

Tell me, how many warriors do you see buff? They can try to mirror us, but we know our own weaknesses so can exploit that on others. Besides, if they "mirror" us, wouldn't they have the same "overpowered" classes? It is not overpowering, it's people not knowing how to deal with it then bitching about it.

Bots will usually bot Chinese to powerlevel Euros. Why? Because they've used the same build on another server before. But they'll start bitching when their Euros die, as they'll bitch when their Chinese die.

There's no 8D suns since Euro update unless it was from the MMOSITE contest soooo, there goes that argument. 72+5s and +7s and better then the SoSes they could find.

I can tell from your argument you haven't seen a true Euro party. I'm not surprised, you won't see them on older servers. Because everything is powerlevel or bot there, no place to build your stable team.

bot or not, the gold buyers will own the server. So it really doesnt matter what server you go to.
