well i hope not because when people normally post them they have been hacked and decide to quit after that. I dont think its to do with free items or trying to get attention.
Plus i never heard of anyone getting a free account after getting hacked or anythink.

1 guy tried to scam me by saying he was hacked lvl 80 and would plvl me if i gave him my spear lol.

Well, people who actually do get hacked probably want to just let out their frustration, as well as seek for a little sympathy and/or help from the community...
a friend in need is a friend indeed... (old saying which may have been lost in modern day self-gratificated society)
and then perhaps there are the people who just come onto the forums brand new seeing this could be an opportunity to leech free stuff, and that's where ur poll comes in...
but to be honest i would doubt people who've been here for a long time and have truely helped out other people or contributed with ideas and such are trying to just leech stuff from other people. of course there are those people that exist... but for the most part i think the people around these forums aren't that bad.
