so if your a thief what weapon do you use to lvl mask? not a question just answer what you do

i use lvl 32 blade and shield

som blade + som shield 24+5

I love them <3

my 72 +7 glavie

I recommend thieves to take their weapons and protectors off, so I can kill them in one shot

depends, if my dad fixes the router, i ca be on almost 24/7, but untill that happends, when i wake to 6pm PST. soo yeah

lvled to 29,

my chinese I use a lvl 24+5 sos glavie and my Euro I dont lvl fake, pretty much if you see him your dead 2 seconds later.

1 time a lvl 35 clean glaive...but other than that, or I wield my buff shield (npc lvl 32, need a better one hehe) or my lvl 72+7 glaive, lol

BTW guys using a 8D weapon is not lvl masking, lol just say that you dont lvl mask then.

I'd use an SOS+3 blade/shield lvl24..

but usually i just dont have a weapon out at all. just walk out.

I used to have 60+5 spear, but sold it. If you use weps below 6th, then Traders are suspicious cause you can't kill below 40 unless they have 2 star+ which is as common as finding 10mil someone dropped (only once)

Depends on the situation.
If Im just playing around the trade routes of jangan-dw, then most probably I use my lvl 24 spear.
If Im scouting into unknown territory or searching for ghost-trade groups, I'll be on defensive stance that is my 72+5 Shield and 72+3 blade.
If Im engaging enemies without sun weapons, I'll use my 72+5 glavie to test out damage first, and let them think Im lower lvl or its just a 72+5 glavie.

If Im going serious on them then, I bring my 72+7 Glavie out.

Why wouldn't you just kill em with +7? I don't care if the trader is only lvl 40 or not, if they have goods i'll try to steal em unless they are full 6th with sun, then i pussy out and run

2 things.Firstly, because I always give a chance to lvl 40+ traders to drop their loots and walk away instead of ending up dying 5 times in a row and watch me getaway with his loots.

Secondly, Im a little sicko. I like to act noob a little here and there, even in pvp, and when they got confident of killing me - I'll show them a 7k crit with my lvl 24 spear.

If you intend to brutally and swiftly end any trader's trade on sight, then no point doing a Lvl Mask even. Lvl Mask's for sickos that love a lil extra fun while jobbing. Too bad most of the times victims of lvl masks are either noob hunter/traders, or naive high-lvl hunters/traders. I love seeing them curse and swear whenever they're robbed.

As for me, there's no need to mask my level. Invisible takes care of that well enough.

well today i wasnt masking andn there was 2 traders lvl 20-32 and 1 lvl 47-51 hunter i killed hunter 2 shots and killed the traders they both had 5* so i made 809k the best thief run i ever did and im still using my lvl 60 blade

Even though i don't job, i lvl hide at cape fights with a lvl1+3 som sword and lvl1+5 sun shield, pimping

Today i was just sitting outside DW west gate with my regularly used 64+5 spear, and a lvl 52+ trader just runs right past me and doesn't even think about going back, so i follw him a bit to scare him. Then for the fun of it i kept getting his horse hp way low so he used a lot of pots, then he got of horse again so i killed him with shout lol. And then I see another trader below lvl 40 with a lvl 30 camel and he starts laughing at me saying i couldn't kill him. So i follow him into ravine and He is getting mobbed by like 4 Eyed ghosts so i decide I might as well End his laughing. At this point i have a 2 star, so 3 Hunter npc spawn and 2 were light bows so i ran to The trader as he wa s fighting 3 Eyed ghosts and My hunters killed him with splash lol. Then 4 lvl 30+ traders below 40 come in to ravine and started mocking me cause They couldn't be killed so i did the same to them, to my luck 3 light bowers are now spawned and the traders all drop like Flies. So at this point my Horse has a 4 star so i decide to drop it all and summon Ox cause Im Int and all those hunters with 4 star would have probably killed me lol. So i got it to 3 star And i had to leave only 1 Item so i didn't get 4 star.

not bad only reason i couldnt tank the 5* loot cause i had to do 2 trips my ox could hold it all but it was 5 hunters and xlarge pots arnt god enough to pot away the damage from the ox and my wolf so i had to do 2 trips but it was worth it i got 20% thief lvl 2 out of it

You don't spawn a crap load of hunters like traders spawn thiefs with 5 star If that so then i could have carried 5 star after all.
