629 hours and you don't know how to open a gap?

simple, drop your max mastery level 4 below your current level and keep it up for a while.

OR u can always get to a specfic lvl by 0 gapping, and then delvl it 9 lvls so you'll have a 9 gap, and farm for a couple weeks/months

The best way to gap woth a euro is
1* get to a specific lvl (best is 64++ to farm for alchemy 8D at the same time) make the best armor you can posibly make!!
2* delevel your mastery to 9 gap and start a nice long farm

inportant*
the rason that you must make the best gear possible is becouze once you delevel your euro mastery you MAY NOT TAKE YOUR GEAR OFF or you will have to level your mastery back up again just to put your armor on back again.

hope this will help you a lot

Just because you can see it on your character doesn't mean that you can utilize it. It will be only for looks my friend. the game will act as if you wearing nothing at all.

+1

The game will ignore the defense and blues that the gear has.

I would say to keep a 2-4 gap if you need more sp. That should be enough to manage your skills and also euro chars aren't really meant for the heavier 5-9 gap farming that chinese characters can do because euro chars wear their armors based on mastery level.

not sure if anyone else does this but my farming is different. i wait till the the next X0 level before i open a new gap. for example, ill have a 0 gap at 20, but by 29 itll be 9 (or 8 so i lvl a bit quicker). then when i hit 30 i close gap, buy skills, then start to open gap again so when i hit 38-39 i have a big gap again. at 40, close gap, buy skills, rinse repeat. right now im 47 with a 7 gap and i have 27k sp, all my skills are maxed at 40

my friend is a level 68 at generals, she's a wizard with a 8 gap. so she has full 7D gear and they're blued and alchemized.

she doesn't die as long as we have her warrior buffed, and she gains 15k+ sp a day. so there you go, join a good euro 8/8 party and go 9 gap. piece of cake.

if you're a tank then you'll have to get to at least 79 and drop to 9 gap there, you can tank massive party generals with just +3 70 gear. make sure your accessories are good. make sure your cleric is good, make sure your party is good and you're set.

I like 4-gapping. A 2 gap seems like it evens out XP/SP gain so it's usually not enough. 3 gap gives you decent SP gains, a 4 gap is what I run after 20 on my Euro characters.

(BTW, has anyone else checked to see that a Euro gets slightly more XP if they fight a monster 12 levels higher, NOT 11? :P It's very very minor, but it is a gain. I ran tests against various monster types from level 17 up to 24. 12 lvls difference gave me 1-2 XP more per kill.)

Level up a nuker build to like lvl 45 / 50 (with a 0 gap or smth).
Then start powerleveling your own new character at the ongs. See Guides and Tutorials section for nice ong powerlevel guides. :)
Once you powerlevel enough, you can 0 gap your new character to 80 and level fast.

just lvl and get skills as you go...

when you ru out of sp you'll by default be farming since you wont have sp to lvl up your skills anymore lol

Your stats stats work and your deffence is not getting smaller
but your items will become red.
I tryde it with mi char with 1 mastery so if you dont believe me
than try it with 1 mastery on your char. Its not that expensive.

I hang a 2-3 gap usually. Tends to work ok. You generally have enuf sp

I have 1H 2H and cleric skills (only res and bless, and at 40 recov division) and it works well for me
