I've been playing a while now, quitted for a while but came back. Been in a lot of different guilds with a lot of different people in it. And I was just wondering, whats youre real reason to play.

When I was in one of the bigger and better known guilds, all everybody cared about was getting as high leveled and as fully farmed with the best set they could get ASAP. When I was in the smaller guilds, all people really cared about was just playing, jobbing, caping and warring.

I find myself having far more fun when I am just fooling around with a friendly bunch of people from all kinds of levels and just poking eachother. Then while I was in one of the bigger guilds and taking care of the each of the ego's in there.

Example; Warring in a big guild it is important not to die, if you have no sun and are no euro best to do is stay inside and not let the other guild kill you for warpoints. Warring in a small guild is running out, screaming IKEELYOO, die and have a laugh about it.

So whats youre real reason? And please something better then just friends, cause friends can be in either kinda of guild. Is it powerhunger, is it fun, is it jobbing. Whut is it?

Main reason why i'm playing Silkroad is that i got just way too much time at the moment ( and no , i'm not workless at the moment )

funny thing ingame is that the guild i'm in is really fun
we are having a good time during jobbing / waring / talking / whatever

and no , not all strong guilds are akting like you told in your post

Moving to Mercury, and becoming a thief brought back a lot of the fun for me in this game.

About the same...If I didnt have such good friends (the guildmembers ) I wouldve quitted a long time ago

i have no reason to play.... lol

i kind of like the grinding... when you have nothing else to do, game is best way to waste time lol

Because when i'm level 80 i'll be full farmed with full 3rd tier 100% blue +4 gear, and me and my mates will go thieving and ganging up on sun whores with our 4 person kd/stab

I actually play alot games...Like WarRock, Nostale, Flyff, CS, CSS, and some Chinese games ( I'm Chinese ).

Just get laggy on WarRock so I tried out SilkRoad.

In this order... Fly, old TE and new Avalon guild/union.

The game is hella fun, and i enjoy the grind

It's something else to do...

Plus, having a bunch of good people around you is nice

I like the people i've met, and this game has a surprising amount of polish. It's unique and has innovative gameplay features that are unlike any other free MMORPG I've played. But mostly for the people and the PvP

i'm still trying to find something..i feel like im getting closer to it tho

i truly agree with what you said, the shame is that since some months ago..less and less guilds like that happen to exist..
All ppl care about is getting capped, fully farmed and then OH NOES IM SO LEET, and then quit the game ...

Trying out new builds... pvping, killing time, guild/union.

mine is really simple: get to a high lvl ^_^

I'm four lvls from 70 on my rogue, if I can get to 70, I'll be happy ^_^

Honestly, I like the Tranglular Conflict, it's a shame, ppl have to get near cap to enjoy it fully. I've only done ONE trade with my rogue, and that was back when I was around 30, I managed to get to trade lvl 2, but I haven't traded since >.<

Loved this game back inda days and still love it now, but just not as much

i like the people i play with. None are better to be with on Alps

i have no reason so i haven't played for a while actually since the fortress war thing all my friends were high lvl and left the guild and i am not high enough for them so i am alone talking to 20 people throough pm is hell ]

I've been playing since Oct 05, and thus, I myself, and the friends I play with have already capped by now. My guild has the fortress on our server, but I don't know if I'd call us powermongers. I play to have fun with my friends. It just happens to be that most of my friends are capped, have sun, are fully farmed yada yada yada.

I definitely remember my noobier days in Kazlac and Saints though. Had a lot of fun eventhough the only two high levels in our guild were DeathToucHz and myself. We pulled off plenty of trading expeditions, had fun wars, and participated in little mini events. We tried to involve all the lower levels if we could.

Right now, the main thing I enjoy most is party play with everyone in the union and fortress wars. If it weren't for those two things, I would've quit about a month ago.

I don't have any reason to play on anymore.
However, I've got tons of quiting reasons.
Main 2 being:
1) JM
2) Bots

I got nuffin better to do/play.
