I reinstalled my client like 30 times, but it keeps telling me:
You client is damaged or corrupt, thus cannot connect to game.
Please reinstall the client.
And on my last try, that's exactly what I did.
Download the "SilkroadOnline_GlobalOffi8.exe" -> Reboot -> Virus scan with Ad-Aware -> Reboot -> Install SRO -> Update the client -> Reboot -> Launch the game -> You client is damaged or corrupt, thus cannot connect to game.
Please reinstall the client. -> Said bad words -> Turned the PC off -> Went to sleep.
WTF is the problem?

uninstall and use a shredder on the SRO file.

I dont think the old SRO files are the problem since i do have the old SRO files in addition to the new client (the old one is v110) and mine works perfectly fine.
try downloading your client at
http://www.silkroadaddiction.com on the 2nd page.

I had this issue when the christmas event came around.
I did exactly what XMoshe said... move your screenshots folder somewhere safe, uninstall Silkroad, then delete the Silkroad folder from c:/program files manually. Reinstall a fresh client and it should work.

+1
basically the diea is to install sro in a different folder from the one you currently have sro in. whether you delete it and remake it or you jsut put it in a diff location, the poblem should be fixed.

It's possible that you have a Virus from a hacker that specifically targets your sro, try changing the name of the folder you sro is in.
