Thanks a ton for clearing that up, I thought the only advantage of weapons was being able to use skills.

OMFG, should have told me that 3 years ago, before I grinded to 80 by killing mobs with nothing by my hands.
Reason why all your dmg comes from the weapons is because your magic ballance doesn't reinforce your hands. You can use a lvl 1 weapon and do about 1/4 of your regular dmg with up to date skills, even though you have 1/80 of the atk power on the weapon
