Stun - glitch

Today, i found a glitch that could represent an inconvenient for glaiver. It's about stun :
If u change the target and use a skill, no matter the stun cooldown is left, stun status will be removed automatically
Enjoy to exploit the glitch
Edit: actually u have to spam skills, not just use 1, and combine with spamming the double click of your mouse...

Like it has any use. The glaive char will keep hitting u. Stunn is their to let your enemey stop attacking you. If you attack someone else you get the same effect. So this "exploit" is still useless imo.

So which is better: being stunned in 5s, or being stunned in 1s?

Being stunned 1 sec, attacking someone else, walking up to that guy or starting the attack for more then 5sec. Yeah no idea..

You don't actually attack the second person. You just target them and activate a skill, then switch back to your original target (the glaiver) and continue attacking.
Nice find Silo. =)

now thats the answer for my old question: why on jobwars i get stunned sometimes for 1-2secs...
so this makes glavier build (atm) from bad duel build to super lame...

I dont think changing different target makes any sense... stun always does random effect for 1sec to 5sec and its a bug in silkroad.
Just like knockdown. Sometimes you cant stab them.
Also theres this skills that suppose to do more damage when your target has status effects but I dont see any difference.
and Yeah, just like all other skills in silkroad its poorly coded.

I don't know if this is a bug, but on my warlock nub char, the shell floating girls give fear status. Just select another mob and attack it while your dots kill the one that gave fear in the first place.
Does this work with fear that wizards give? Is it supposed to work like that?
And yeah stun is random 1-5seconds.

It's actually not because of switching target the main reason is spamming skills, flooding packets to dumb the client, server...
No it's not random. I clearly saw the tooltip when i got stunned it's 5s, then i use the glitch and it's canceled.

By clicking a second person and activating the skill, you're attacking them, or at least beginning the attack. If you use a skill that has no range (requires your character to run up to the second person) then I guess you didn't actually attack them, if you're quick enough to cancel the attack and return to the glavier. Otherwise, you'll have the glavier attacking you AND the second person attacking you in retaliation as well.

was wondering about that one too thanks for clarifying how it actually works.

How could u attack someone if u are under stun status?

I went through many trials after reading this, and can confirm that this is NOT conclusive. In other words, it's not true

I am one single entity.
And just because something is true under certain conditions, in certain places, at certain times, doesn't mean that it is true in general. I disproved it under a different condition/time, therefore it is not true in general, whether you like it or not.

Ok young boy. But i didnt say it will work in 100%. In general, it works, so it's true. Yours is just an exception.

Noticed this MANY times while party grinding generals. I often switch targets to get the most of FDF and GSM, nice trick, but not to helpful in pvp. In reality the chances of you making a use out of the glitch is slim. 1~2 seconds to realize you're stunned, 1~2 seconds to click new target and spam new skill, 1~2 seconds to reselect target and continue PvP'ing. And who knows, you won't always be near someone with a cape, you might miss clicking on them and screw up. Besides, stun isn't always 5 seconds, why risk it and create further delay from attacking?

Man, u need to learn more about the game, stun is always 5s
http://www.konpaku.com.br/silkroad/habi ... &skill=718
And in the case stun is not 5s because u did the glitch successfully without realizing it.
Once again, I repeat. It's not about switching target, but spamming skills. If u cant find anyone nearby, fine. It should work but with lower probability. And if u are good enough, in pvp, only 2s needed to cure it.

a statistical anomaly doesn't disprove something that has occurred in a large group. you Fail at debunking nuclear silo.
OT: very bad find for glaivers

, and rogues
EDIT: so it works by just spamming skills, or do you have to switch targets?

I wasn't referring to glaive stun exclusively, but if you say that all stun skills are 5 seconds then you must be correct about the glitch being done without actually knowing I did it.
Anyway, I doubt this glitch will be fixed in the near future, and I probably won't be accustomed to spamming while stunned, normally I stop using skills and check if a vigor is needed or something else useful. Could be nice to get in the habit of it though.

dude u must suck badly in duels/gvg...
wit this method takes me around 1s to take down stun... if u react on stun after 3-4s u should go to doctor cuz there is smth wrong wit u O_o and im not jokin...
again great find nsilo

Combined with slim delay, the chances of misclicking, I think it's fair. I was also not referring to the method of just plain spamming, rather selecting a different caped character. Not everyone is 100% prepared to be stunned at any given time.

ok, for the sake of argument, can you click on yourself and spam a skill - for example, a cleric heal?

I never thought of clicking myself... so i dont know. The only thing i can tell u is spamming only 1 skill wont work because each skill has a cooldown. So it's better to spam skills that u havent used yet.

U must be very bad in games, dont u? When u fight a glaiver, u must be aware that u'll be stunned anytime.
Remember a game of mmosite in Halloween, when u have to click a ghost image to get a gift? It took me only less than 200ms to realize the appeared image and to click it. So if it take u 2s to notice something, i think u should train a bit with Halflife-CounterStrike :S
