I think we might have a problem on Olympus... We couldn't set tax last Saturday for some reason, and now we can't set it either.. it's almost 10 am in Korea now and still can't set it.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Would anyone with an already set tax be willing to see if they can change their tax rate right now? ... because if they could that would mean somethings wrong with Olympus so we can send some bug reports to JM. Thx in advance.

I was able to set tax at 20% last saturday at around 1 am Silkroad time. We got about 225 mil till today. The bug i am finding is i cant levy the money out.

Could be that day in JM dimension starts at noon or something...

maybe but last week i started right at like 1am silkroad time. Also this is copy and paste from their website.

Tax control
The fortress administrator is entitled to adjust tax rate and levy taxes at large cities and specialty stores relevant to the occupied fortress.
Tax rate is adjusted in range between -20% and +20%. Tax rate adjustment is available from 00:00 to 23:59 every Saturday, and not restricted of frequency.
Levying taxes is allowed only on every Saturday. When you click Levy button, the taxes are transferred to the inventory.
Authority for levying taxes is restricted to the guild master (the commander at the fortress war).

How is 225mil even possible. Nobody uses jangan anymore. Only thing there is gold bots. And at low level they dont even buy pots, they use force. Only thing is repairing. It costs... what maybe 5k to repair at that low lvl?...20% of that is 1k... 225mil=225000k. Most people wont trade to jangan anymore, but I guess some still will. So maybe like...20mil in a week from that? I find that hard to believe myself...

Ok everyone. In an earlier post in this thread i posted a copy and paste from silkroadonline.net. It says tax rate is set on saturday 00:00-23:59 sro time. Well yesterday i could not even change the rate. I assume its a bug cause last week i set the rate at 20%.

Now to answer more of your questions. First I play on Babel its a 2 year old server and there are not many chars in jangan. Maybe 2 or 3 stalls at any given time. Jangan is pretty much full of gold bots and spammers. Now I set the tax rate at 20% cause quite honestly why not? I collect 20% on all npc purchases, teleports, and even trade items when traders sell them back at jangan NPC. We get approx. 30 mil per day or 1-1.5 mil per hour. The reason I get it is my Union capture the castle 2 weeks ago. It is our plan to divide the money up amongst the other guilds in the union. Not equally of course, but split it up to the guilds that fought and will defend with us. If you have 50 that fight you get more. If you have 5 that fight you get less. Only the master of the guild that captured the castle can access the tax money.

I would be happy to screen shot it for you. Also 1k of each teleport we get. 20% from anything sold to the NPC yeah all items that the gold bots NPC we get a % of.

Ah, npc stuff. Still though...they dont npc for more then like 20k...I could see 150mil.. like at most...idk. Maybe it is... if so we have an assload of gold bots =/

Well Akiller i know you dont like me or my guild much but i dont really have any reason to lie about how much gold is in the levy.

I would not have told anyone how much accumulates in the levy but everyone in my union can see it so with 300+ in union its not much of a secret.

He's right im in that guild too and the tax is like 250mil now.

fair enough. I tried adjusting the tax rate saturday like i did last saturday and it did not work. I still say its a bug cause there was no reference to only levy taxes on every other saturday. I also know from my 2+ years of playing that the korean to english translation is not good either. I sent in a bug report. I know there is very little chance they will make a post or notice regarding the information to clear this matter up for us so i guess we just wait.

Yup newer servers should have tons more gold due to all the new gold bots and new player chars spending money there.

ROFL. Yeah. ITs funny there are what like 19 servers now. So 19 castles. Prolly 2 or 3 guild leaders of those castles speak and type good english so that leaves us to teach the rest of the ISRO players about the castle and the benefits and stuff.
