Does anyone know what a good use for mana drain is, since a wizard doesnt have enough time to wait around for them to run out of mp, I just use it on full STR's that cast snow shield to piss them off when they're pvping someone else

use it on a cleric spamming healing and under bless?

in PVP maybe, but under a job war a maybe if the cleric is standing out in the open, if they are in the safe zone you cant cast it on them, I starting to think its a useless skill.

I think it is useless.

I mean, Wizards are 1 hit builds, so running out and casting it would do no damage to the person, and would get you killed.

This skill is not useless o_0, but it's not the most kick ass skill either but it does have it use. Mainly for killing Mana Shield, cast it on them it'll help drain his mp, and it adds a 5sec pot delay to mp pots only, works nice if you cast it before fear, 1 nuke will total clean all of the person mp so they can't attack and, it leaves the 2nd nuke to hit full dmg. The reason I know this is because a wizard killed me like this, learn it if you want other means of killing people then just trying to nuke them to death. Because you will not 1 hit a good int at lv80 with mana shield on not even 2 hit if they are really good..this will help you deal with people like that..the LEET.

good point, I have it lvled up all the way, I have 1 person I will try it on, there is only a couple of lvl 80's int that I havent killed in 1 hit and im going to try it out tonight, but I havent found any INT characters that are more then a 2 hit yet.

....It's like instant cast, and it halfs someone's MP, so halfing a lvl 80 pure STR's MP = 5k so you would only need to do like 15k real dmg, or 10k dmg that shows to take out the mana shield. So it's actually an awesome skill. When you get drought, it also decreases pot delay to 4 sec, so it's awesome in Job/Mass PvP since others can also kill pure str even if they don't do awesome dmg at once, at that time, it also makes them unable to attack you because of the drain and the delay together, they can pull off like 1 skill since it takes like 2k to use their skill, then they won't be able to use another skill.
