What the heck is up with 20% taxes in Jangan on Odin?
I get the feeling it is connected to the Fortresses, but where is all my money going? It makes trading to Jang more than worthless, I almost lost money when I went from DW to Jang, unlike the other way round. How do we make the taxes go back down?

people who are in charge of the fortress set the taxes. so they get money.
best bet is to get your guild to beat them, then you can get the tax profits instead.

theres a union in each server that owns a fortress.
they place taxes on people and rack up monaaaaaayyyyyy

Well, I just turned the tax to my advantage: I went to DW and bought pots for $5500, then went back and sold them all in half an hour for $6200.
Pwned.

i've got 2 questions:
1)does the union leader guild's leader get the money or everyone in the union?
2) if i sell items to npc in Jagan does the fortress war owner has to pay? or does the tax count only if your buying npc things from Jagan?

The fortress guild leader gets the taxes and he/she will decide what to do with it.
As for the second question...im pretty sure it should be buying? Don't really know since im omitted from taxes

I'm guessing that when you sell stuff, part of the profit that you would get goes to the guild.

you can make more collecting gold from manyang
and how much did it cost you to transport from 1 city to other
a horse 1200 or scroll or teleport 5k

I'm smart though; I buy enough to cover the loss. I've made about 40k so far, which is better than you can do for not sitting at your computer.

Leader of union isnt necessarily in charge of fortress.. it's the individual guild, and that leader gets the gold then decides what to do with it.

lol dude i hope for ur sake ur joking bout this... u know that stack of xl pots is 45k? why would i lose half an hour and not be able to buy 1 stack of pots, and if u were smarter and spent those 30 min grinding ud make a lot more than 40k...
