was it worth being in the fortress war?
winners and losers what were benefits of any

2nd when you died how much experience points did you lose?

EVERY % of it. Lets just say you werent focused in the amount of exp you lost. More like the thing running in your head was " OMFG this is AWESOME!"

it's proberly just like when jobbing...just 10 mobs of xp or something?

I didnt participate in the war, but I would guess that the xp loss is similar to guild wars. Which is a lot more than jobbing.

+1, didnt even noticed my xp lost till the war was over.

I wasn't even paying attention to that, don't think it goes down at all tho. I'll have to pay attention to that next time

With my lvl 31 bard, i only lost .10 exp each time i died , cause i kept getting a spear in the face by lvl 80s

i still don't really get how u'd make 100mil in taxes...

most of the potions and stuff in jg aren't useful to buy for the war, so i assume the siege stuff you buy would be the stuff that gets taxed..

perhaps horses, repairs... trades? would be the main source of income... but how it adds up to 100mil i'm not sure O.o

if i were a lowbie i'd rather just pay 5k to go to dw and then splurge on pots and stuff there... would easily make back the 5k teleport fee...

You lost very little. Maybe 4 normal mobs your level per death.

Hell yeah it was worth it. Made it even more worth it too rub the victroy into the so called 'Best guilds' faces.

Benefits? Hmm I'm loving the guild names now.

The fortress war was brilliant, and I just hope I don't have work when the next one is on! XD

I think for all the EXP I lost, I regained it from my party killing things. So it wasn't a bother at all.

That's how he makes that much. On any of the old servers you would get next to nothing. In Greece, jangan is empty. You would get money from TP fees during the fortress...and from the stuff bought from fotress NPCs.

Sure, trades make you money, but you will see a shift in trade routes because of high taxes. When you gain 120% from a completed trade, but you pay 20% more for the goods, you start thinking of DW -> hotan trades.

How do they make so much money? Its the bots, they still buy pots, repair their gear and all that, i think some of them did not even notice that the pots cost +20% now, on most servers there is 10-15 gold bots permanently at the potion seller so yeah, just from the bots you can make 30-40mil a day.
