lol this hit me...probaly hit u long time ago.....but....

The reason why JM doesnt block the gold botters (I know they could block them if they wanted to)is if the gold botters give them 10% of the money gained from the farmed gold, they can get free premiums and stay on their turf, thats why JM is so rich and why theres so many gold botters

The reason why JoyNax doesn't give a rat's ass about gold botters is because of the players.

Players like you, legit or bot buy gold. People buy gold to become stronger in the game. When players invest time and money into the game, they play it. Without an economy in the game or equipment the game gets boring. When the game gets boring people quit. When people quit, the game dies.

Joymax doesn't receive any profit from gold bots. Why would gold bot's buy premiums? They dont have too they are logged in 24/7 and if they are banned, they can be created in 5 seconds. It's not logical to massively ban 10,000 gold bots because 10,000 will come back the very next day.

Do yourself a favor and buy gold. Buy premium. Then you won't be complaining.

PS: i really hate F2P players. They complain the most.

all u need to do is get 30 char, strip it down to nothing and go punch mangyangs for the rest of its gaming life and get gold without losing a dime but dont need a preium, i get on when i want (somehow) and ps. stop playing SRO and play the witcher

Yeah I remember that too. That post was pretty stupid. Full server's mean that no new users can play. So advertising for more concurrent users is pretty dumb. Thats why a new server comes out ever week. Even then the new servers are full of bots...

again casue of full servers and casuing peopel to buy premuim, and also to get players to try out new servers causing them to buy more silk and start from fresh

Nah. You couldn't be further from the truth. You think with what you only have experienced but not the full picture. Allowing access to the server isnt the problem. Premium ticket was already in kSRO. But think about it like this... what if you bought a premium ticket for 20 bux and couldnt get in? would you be pissed? I dont see why you would actually complain about guaranteed access to the game.

Game world/population is like a restaurant. You can only handle so many customers in one area. When you build a server, usually you build it high spec and run it at 30% efficiency. For less lag. Other than that, the game isn't designed to have 5.000 players in the server. Monster spawns has to be increased. areas have to be expanded an so fourth.

Again do yourself a favor. Buy a premium.

Im not an employee or an ex-employee. Its logic. Kids only see what's directly in front of them.

You do realize that happy customers become paying customers, and if you didn't have botters, then all the people who wanted to be high lvl fast would buy premiums/tickets anyway. It doesn't make any sense from business point of view to have 50%+ of the servers filled with non playing characters that only annoy the paying customers. Gold bots don't just cause traffic, they KS, they clear areas from mobs, and overall prevent the general population from playing. If so many people weren't botting you would have more complains from frustrated legits that have nothing to kill.

Pred, you think it's logical to let 50%+ of a server that costs thousands to operate each month be filled with non playing characters? Do you think adding another server that will be filled 50%+ with gold bots makes more sense than making everything you can to keep those useless bots away? Do you really think paying 25x $20k will make you more money than paying 15x$20k with the same population of actual paying customers?

Not having sosun makes the game boring? Buying gold makes it more fun? How wrong you are. In a game where everyone is balanced, being the best is more fun than being the best in a game where money buys you power. Why else do you see all those gold buyers and full sosun people just standing around doing nothing or using different gears? It's because killing people that can't hurt you back is about as much fun as grinding, and if you didn't know, that's not much fun.

How's that for logic? Bandwidth isn't cheap, and JM loses much more money because of the gold bots than any of you realize.

Why does everyone keep thinking Joymax is in league with goldbots? Joymax have the ability to create as much gold as they want. They made & run the game. If they wanted to, they could create gold and then sell it under their name (Joymax) or a different company name (pretend they're not affiliated with Joymax) and then they'd get 100% of profits. Yes, they should be banning a lot more goldbots, but I seriously doubt they're actually working together.

This is how you keep the game alive. It's an F2P game. How do you spend money on bandwith if everyone is playing for free. F2P players complain the most. Paying customers only complain about about Joymaxs service. Service? what service. there is no service. The only service you paid for was to buy silk which you then later spent. Then you complain about being hacked and chargeback lol.

People play this game to have fun. It is about power. If you sucked in the game, why would you continue to play? To get stronger to not "suck". If buying gold cost 300$, to many people 300$ is cheaper than investing 5 months to finding good gears. Working a job and making $100 per day is a lot easier than wasting time on farming.

I personally don't bot. But I have bought gold. I bet 80% of the players you know have bought at least 100M gold.

You do realize JM doesn't need gold bots to fill servers and make them crowded, right? They can force you to buy premiums by having less servers filled with real players. You really think sosun would cost 1 bil if there were no gold bots? Think again. Look at kSRO, their economy is a lot less farked up, and ours would be too without the gold bots. You wouldn't need to buy gold because If all the elixirs cost 30-50k, like they did before the flood of gold bots, you can pimp equips with as little as 2 mil, and seriously, with a monkey picking up my gold, I make that much in a few hours.

Not everyone plays the game to show off in front of a bunch of other kids they don't even know...some of us play for fun...we are called legits.

Joymax doesnt need gold bots if the main currency wasnt gold. If they sold you the item directly, that would abolish any use of gold.

Everyone has a different definition of being a Legit.

OT: Joymax isn't affliated with gold bot companies; they have an unusual money making strategy thats working. as pred said do yourself a favor and buy a premium [if you want to play competitively] or just play for fun like torin or you can take the easy way out:

EASY STEPS TO QUITING SRO

1. Stop buying silk [without silk you will start to lose the will to play]
2. Log in Less each week [before long you won't even feel like trying without premium]
3. Start posting less on srf [if you don't want to be dragged back into sro avoid all sro related forums]
4. go to http://www.mmorpg.com [find a nifty mmo there and d/l]
5. by now the sro icon on your desktop should be an Eyesore delete it and uninstall the game[huzzah 3 more steps]
6. Chargeback [now you can't touch your lvl XX+ anymore XD]
7. eventually request a ban from every sro related forum [trust me its for your on good][optional >.>]
8. Log into that cool mmo you've been downloading/installing for the past 10 minutes -5 hours.

Hey Pred, I'd like to hear your opinion on something. I'd like to know if I've earned the right to complain. Here is my story:

It seems as though Joymax has accidentally deleted my account (or at least lost the login information for it) during the implementation of joymax portal because the account name has a ` symbol in it. I had never bought silk on that particular account, but I have on another. I asked about the problem on the sro official forums and after a while (2 weeks or so) I got a response out of mornigdew admitting that it was a bug, and that I should send a bug report. I have been sending bug reports every day for the past 2 and a half months, and the korean office have totally ignored them.

I know I didn't pay for any service, but seriously, this level of incompetence is unbelievable, even if you were playing for free.
