Farming with 9 Gap at lvl 14. Good or not?

Well, I'm a lvl 14 Pure STR Glavier (Chinese) and I have a Gap of 9. I have been SP farming since I started and I have around 955 SP, but it's getting boring now, since it takes way too much time to lvl up.
Do you think I should continue to farm with 9 Gap, do it with a lower Gap, or don't SP farm at this lvl at all? (If the last, at which lvl should I start doing it?)
O.S: I'm all new to this game, and haven't had any character before (Like 1 week game play)

It's easier to farm at Lv16 with a SoS/M/Sun bow in my opinion. If you start farming at Lv16 with a 9 gap, your results should be better, and you should be able to 1 Bandit Archers in the Bandit Den.

Alright, so should I upgrade my heuskal and Fire skills to leave a gap of 3 or 4? Or what should I do? I'm confused

Raise your mastery to Lv7, upgrade Fire imbue at least. Then grab a SoS/M/Sun Lv16 bow when you're Lv16 to Bandit Stronghold and farm there.
If you think farming is boring, don't farm. You can go on without farming. Enjoy the game a little first.

I think I'll do what you said, but since I'm really new to this game, I don't know what SoS/M/Sun bow means, and where I can get one. If you cared to explain i would be really grateful

Amy Lee FTW!
Since you are new, you might need some nice help to start you off with.
Why don't you come to pacific, so I can help you out a bit?
And since you are new to this game, don't farm at all. My advice is just lvl up and have fun and see if you like the game (there are many problems, you gotta see before putting time on this game; if you can deal with these problems and you wanna farm later on, just do so... but for now have fun!

). You only got 955 sp and you are bored now, and 995 sp is nothing.
Just pm me, and I will help you to start off @ pacific server.

Bah -.-
Keep a Gap 9 At lv. 16 and start farming and keep the Gap with u as long as u lvl..
Then At lv.16 go to Bandit Archers or Bandit..
Or Crabs at Europe ^^ ( Hella lot of Elements there lol )
and 1 ~ 80 full farm 3 Mastery's Nuker goes for 450k SP's so 900+ SP's wont do anything bah

Well, thanks pipigrande (Ermm, you're name is just plain weird in Spanish

), but I'm not moving servers; I already got people who help me at Tibet (one of them studies with me at University.
I know about the game's problems, and I'll live with them, but I'm thinking of just dropping farming and actually enjoy the game . . . thanks for the advice

Dropping farming is a great idea. Many people quit as a first timer because they read about SP farming and think that if they don't do that they can't own. They can own, maybe not as much, but they should be killing fewer than ones that SP farmed, but I don't think the kills you get are noticeable until you're a higher level.

This topic seems to be stuck in a parallel universe that is approximately 2 years behind ours!
You've got four options:
Farm at level 16 with a 9-gap at the Bandit Stronghold.
This is seriously old school. No, really. Back in the day sealed bows cost 10x+ what they were worth. Nowadays? You could probably get one on the cheap. This option is incredibly tedious and takes forever, but it pays off when you get to soar up in levels with no gap, and you can make a bit of gold while you are at it too. Consider this option carefully if you intend to have a "fully farmed" character with several masteries. Chinese characters will never get a raise on their mastery cap, so if you blow a bunch of SP on three or four masteries, you will either have to spend tons of money on skill reallocation potions or tons of time and gold on cursed hearts should you choose to consolidate your SP into two masteries later on.
Level with a gap.
All you have to do for this is calculate how much SP you will need at your destined level and look at what kind of gap you need to have that much by then. You could spend hours calculating an optimal gap-stepping to save time ingame, but you will probably be fine going with a 3-5 level gap all the way up. Of course this will only fill two masteries so you will be gimped at all but the final cap, especially as a Chinese character. Actually, leveling with a gap shouldn't even be necessary because Joymax
claims in the ingame help that you should have "sufficient SP for two masteries" without gapping.
Level with no gap and farm at cap.
Yes, this is the fastest way to get to a high level but you are going to be weak compared to a gapped player and shrimp meat compared to a farmed player. Depending on how fast you level, you may or may not have problems with buying new gear. It may be the best choice for you though if you just want to see all there is to see.
Get powerfarmed/powerleveled.
Ah yes, the option that 90% of everyone who doesn't bot takes at this point. All you need to do for this is make some high level friends, fire up a horse, then sit back and relax and watch as your SP goes through the roof. There is apparently no disadvantage to this method other than not being able to take full credit for your own character and being a dummy at the cap if you haven't played before.
So there's your options. If you can't decide, you might try starting a second character and doing whatever feels right. That way, even if you screw that character up, you've got some experience and gold under your belt.

9 Cap is the max and farming imo is the best to do when you reach a new Degree

you dont gain any extra sp when going over a 9 gap, alls you do is hurt yourself since you dont hit as hard as you would with a 9gap and just takes longer to kill mobs, so dont go over a 9 gap

Cruor, that post was amazing! You could not have explained it better. Thank you very much!
I sometimes get pwlvled by a 35 lvl friend who actually told me about the game (I study with her), and also from other people in my guild. But I think I'll just lvl all the way up with a 4 Gap . . . Thanks a lot
