All screens taken December 2005, 2 years ago, when I started playing. Soon after Troy had opened.

My PC totally didn't handle sro in a good manner ^^

Stalls all over jangan, santa sets, bots didn't exist yet, d5 was godly, Yeties were the strongest mobs, Karakoram was empty. Tiger Girl Lived.

Don't pay attention to my skills bar, builds also didn't exist back then, it was crazy ^^

Some things changed for better, some things changed for worse. I've had days of laughter and days of anger. I've met a lot of people all around the world. It was incredible. I thank Joymax for making such a great game for all of us to enjoy (but not your administration, mind you).

Amazing I still had these screenshots to remind me how it was back then when I started. The game changed so much.

I remember my low lvl days too...there were goldbots but not so many as now...and GMs logged on to the game even less often that I expected =/

Ah the good old days, back when silkroad had its magic^^

Same thing for me , tho the inlog problem already existed but the game was good playable...

Yeah, I didn't feld the ''magic'' for quite some time now... Tho I played yesterday CoD2 for the first time (online) and it was awesome (yeah, im really up to date)

Twas fun alright, too me like 2 months to get to lvl 24 lol. and i used to always buy npc gear and never +.

edit: still got my first ever char, its still lvl 27

ahh the gold ol' days..

by the time i had gotten to lvl 24 i was sooo happy, lvl 20-30 was non stop trade runs with the guild me and my friends made.. lvl 1 =D
from lvl 30 to 38 it was nonstop thieving xD

THEN bots became popular, soon it began to get harder to grind and suddenly not so many ppl talked. the ones that did didnt speak much english and tryed to scam. sro went downhill from there

Don't have my ss's from before a few months ago cept whats hosted ;x.

i remember back in the day GMs would talk to us more often saying

"Attention this is GM Tarky. Remember not to trust anyone in gold buying as this is not tolerable in SRO" or something like that.


Now they barely say anything, unless its the inspection date

i lost all my screenshots before level 50... apparently i had taken them using xfire and they gradually got overwritten :\

2 years ago though Sro wasn't fked up form bots and gold buying, it was a lot, but i'm sure that was still worth alot more though.
