I'm making a universal gold spammer block, to block every one. The file will be uploaded once i'm finished. So far, i've got every llllllllllll blocked, but i need info on any other common gold spammer names, such as a common name used by them on all servers. I'll also look for active people on each server to make the gold spam list, and send me the names. Hopefully we can restore town chat to the way it was before.

Put it in your "setting" folder under Silkroad and replace the one already there.

lol you really hate them to list them all down..

you enjoy having spam in your towns? im so used to the quietness of ht without them that when i was thiefing in constant/sam it pissed off.

interesting project but once some one gets everything blocked it would just easier to manually block new spammers, i got 3 servers worth of blocks on my list, if you can get svn to auto update the list that would be a nice addition, or thats almost too complex for a single file, just have a a simple exe download a block list, only problem is it would over ride your current block list incase there are a few certain some ones you blocked to not hear them, but it would make it a snap to have everything blocked

edit actually it wouldn't be very hard to do this, get a complete list and i'll make a updater for it, gives me an excuse to make a program, i havn't programmed anything in too long, but i am lazy, how ever this is a simple project, just make it read a text file to check version number of block list and check the site where its uploaded to see if the number is different if it is download the up date, would have to manually run this program though, but it would be very nice and making changing servers alot better

Horizontal is only a problem if it stretches the page. Vertical is where people end up making the topic twice as long as it needs to be.
