Christmas Event...

Last week I decided to take a break from sro for a while. Then JM comes out with this event so, I'm just wondering, is the event worth fighting server traffic for? What are the rewards exactcly? I've seen people talk about grains and sp. Is it really only 10sp every once in a while? Anyway, thanks to whoever replies to this...
