Anyone else getting th client file damaged when you try to intall the updated client? i got it from filefront btw.

I got it from Silkroad Addiction and it installed fine.

Why can't people just wait till the inspection is over my god this pisses me off.

I used the link on SRA and it worked perfectly.. you must download it again

Update: Still having this problem =( downloaded again same thing.... downloaded from fileshack and same thing i eve uninstalled old sro then tried what else can i try?

lawl im in the same boat

dled it twice, tried to install (this was after inspection) said something about this is for legend 2 bullsh*t

i restart my comp now it says"damaged client"



sigh..

So anyone have any idea what we should do besides downloading the client again and again? Already downloaded it from the torrent and FileFront

so, anyone found a way to fix that damaged client thing?

i uninstalled the old silkroad, I get the damaged client error when i try the client from the torrent, and I get "esecute file error" when trying to install the one from FileFront

Download it using Internet Explorer without using any download managers. Make sure you have background programs closed like firewalls and AV. Also close any extra programs that sit in the system tray, and anything else open like a bittorrent client or a game.

i am getting the smae problem too, i think its vista.

this is fckin ridiculous

none of the solutions that i tried worked

downloaded the game 6 times, trying w/ and without firewall, alt download links/versions, with/without download managers, torrents, everything.

though this one time it said that i can not install because its for legend II update (this was after the inspection) i restarted my comp and i never got that since.

what the fck is wrong?

yay, did it, the game is already installed (well, actually bf did it), I have downloaded it like 584574 times from all the places, file damaged, errors... WTF, me pissed, went to bed, BF downloaded it once (ONCE), no error, no nothing. This is another proof that this game hates me.

how and where did you download it?

I would advice all people that experience this problem to check the size of the file you downloaded...
I had the same problem, and it turned out I had only 3/4 of the file, while it said it was complete.
The complete file should be 921MB...

Hope that helped you...

Dont use any download accelerator for big file. Sometimes splitting file cause damage to it.
