Opinion: Alchemy is Rigged

Alchemy is Random: BULLSHIT
Alchemy I find is rigged in this game.
The Astrals and Gold Selling are 2 reasons why I believe its rigged.
Astrals direct from official Premium Mall.
And I have no doubts that Joymax is involved in Gold Selling, they rigged the game to encourage players to buy gold. You don't have to, but obsessed MMO who want the best will certainly will.
I've believed this for quite sometime now, ever since alchemy was introduced.
But something never really discussed with others, but has always bothered me.
Rigged Alchemy:
Alchemy by description is supposedly random.
Any mathmetician will agree that Silkroad Alchemy is not random.
The range of % increase 0-100%
You have 5 Alchemy Stones. You succeed all 5 times. 2 times you get 0%. 3 times you get 22%.
To get 22% 3 times in a row randomly from a range of 0-100% is not chance, that's not random.
If you also look at the majority of weapons: How many weapons do you see with the following %. 42%. 61% and 22%. How is it random that you may see from 10 weapons, that 5 have 42% magic attack and 3 have 61%?
This cannot be random. Its fixed. Hence making Alchemy so expensive, where the game has been rigged to provide 0% success and high fail rate.

If you fail 10 out of 10 times that doesn't mean that the rates are 0%...
And about the stats. Example: You have a weapon with 2cr (0%) and then you raise cr to 10 (80%) But you can't get like 75% crit because that should be 7.5crit value and that's not possible. Same with other stats

This post looks like an ordinary rant post about someone having real bad luck, it only transformed into these words and this subject.

hehe i just bought a lvl 52+3 spear, i failed trying to get it to +4 then all in 1 turn +d it all the way to +5. im happy

It's a random number of there: 0, 22, 42, 61
Even if it's 4 numbers, its's still random (j/k)...

how many weapon out there do you see a physical attack power over 71%, I got two 72 bow. One is 71% and another is 74%. For some reason, after over 100 weapon elixir used, I can never get it to +5. Yes it's rigged.

IMO alchemy should be even tougher than it is now. That's the easiest way to keep up with the gold inflation. Even JM could manage doing it.

I don't threat this as a whining myself. It's just to show everybody else that the alchemy in not really random. But I don't know what the topic started wanted to say... (whining or not)

knowing JM's shitty coding thats prolly the only %'s they put in there but 100% is possible just very unlikley

sjakuzmo lost his Sun bow from alchemy. He had Immortal and everything when he was +7ing his bow.
As for, My alchemy is good. As of now. So far I got Str 5 Int 5, Durability 100% ect ect on two piece of my garm set.

Different gear/weapons have different luck chance on them, says so in ingame help.

It is not random, as you said, it uses the current time and such in the formula, but still, if you put in 100 numbers, they won't repeat in the same order. Why? Each second that is gone, new random numbers and also all the other numbers that you have to include into the calculation.
Anyway, it was spoken of the "Silkroad randomness"...

In an interview with either Gargamel or morningdew (i dont remember which), they said that alchemy success rates did not differ from item to item. Honestly, I believe that to be the case. "Bad luck" does happen.
The % that you get from the ruby stones or assimilation is usually either 0, 22, 41, 61, 80, or 100. In cases where those exact numbers cant be obtained (i.e. crit/block rate/etc)....they're rounded to the closest possible value. Its a big failure in their alchemy system in my opinion, but it would be hard to code it so that every % from 0 to 100 was available with higher values being harder to obtain.

Luoma is right... And it CERTAINLY feels this way in actually doing alchemy. Some items go +1-9 no fails. Others literally CANNOT get past +2. I've had experiences with these items and they are nasty things.

Not really that hard to code in my opinion... just make up a random number from 1 to 348550 first.
The bigger the percent, the smaller the chance to get it.

Also, if you take for example 80 percent (174671). You MUST ignore numbers up to 168110, because those are for 81% and above.
The function took me maybe 5 minutes to write...
And you'll see, the difference between 1 and 2, 2 and 3, 3 and 4... 98 and 99, 99 and 100 is getting larger.
Edit: of course this table would have to be reverted in a script to first check if the number is 10201 or less, 20201 or less and so on... ^^

its not rigged lol. its just totally random. believe me, iv destroyed rondo and alchemy hundreds of stones/materials already ( except for astral, uprading clang clang clang failed coz it just too expensive and stupid to buy or make one rather than buying a ready made weapon/gear)
totally random. ( this is my own point of view)
but about the gold bots, i think gaymax has something to do with it somehow.
