simple question
my highest without astral is +4 shield level 42

I added an astral on my +7 by mistake and bitch failed at +6 the first time, didn't added anymore and got it +7. imo astral is useless and is a waste of money

Wouldnt say waste of money,, it do so you go down to +4 instead of +0 at fail? i dont use it for +5.. and actually i dont use it at all. only very few times if i will try get somethin +7

if you are aiming for +7 you shouldn't care abou how hard going to +4 is...

Getting to +7 can take while and can be very expensive if you don't have a large cache of exliers or a large supply of money...ppl have been know to go bankrupt trying to + out there weapons only to be stuck with some +2 piece of crap at the end.
If you can afford astrals and don't have the resources to+ without worrying of running out of money then i'd suggest you buy them. After all someones elses alchemy success will very rarely mimic yours so why bother listening...
